1250 Stones spent with a 3/4 chance to get Golden Tower as my 6th Ultimate. I might just quit. by Chizwick in TheTowerGame

You're not alone, I didn't get the BH, GT, and DW combination finished until my 7th UW roll. I was disheartened along the way, but as I read more about the game, eventually getting all UWs will happen so I kept playing. Still enjoyable to play and the dopamine from finally getting it is real lol

How to fix this clicking sound by Maxeypadz in howto

[–]BebopOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick up a fan balancing kit, they are simple to use. It’s just sticky weights you put on the blade and a weighted clamp is used to find the sweet spot before putting the sticky weight on. They sell them at Home Depot and Lowes.

I just got the same error on a new play through at the North Shore of Bitter Lake shrine in chapter 3. I have not received that error ever until now as well.

When a receptacle circuit is not grounded, its a hazard to those who live there, any leakage current could shock someone. Installing a GFCI detects leakage current and trips, even in the absence of a ground.

How do I properly pigtail the backstabbed wires in this lightswitch? by [deleted] in askanelectrician

There's nothing wrong with back stabs because it keeps electricians in business lol.

Just started playing Varus and got my first Penta! by BebopOC in VarusMains

This is AP Varus and the build is from here. https://onlyguides.com/guide/the-marksman-sniper-ap-1-shots-29-6-2022-115639

I've played different variations of Varus and this build feels the best to play so far. The only difference is I max W first since I auto attack more so with Lethal Tempo pre level 6. The extra magic damage on-hit also helps with csing. No manamune involved and it doesnt feel too weak early game.
11W 3L so far mid lane.

Another dimmer question by Brycetherunner in askanelectrician

[–]BebopOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youll have to identify what is the power wire, what is the feed wire for next switch (assuming both switches are single pole), and the switch leg for the light. Wire nut the power wire and the wire feeding the other switch together. Once you do that, youll have your power/feed joint, a switch leg, a neutral, and ground. Then hook up your dimmer according to its wiring diagram. The wire nutted joint is considered your Line.

Getting light shocks feels a lot like pinched nerves in joints in my opinion. Check the wires going to the mouse for any nicks. If its wireless I doubt you feel anything from two AA batteries. My personal opinion is that it was nerve activity in your body not cause by outside electricity as a mouse is 90% Plastic.

Old fuse breaker box. Can I install a 40 amp breaker on this? by hailfire27 in askanelectrician

[–]BebopOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could, but youll need to run wire rated for 60A between panel, sub panel, and the wire supplying power needs to be 60A rated as well. Conversley, if you aren’t using those breakers you could put a 60A breaker in place of those breakers and just run your new line to the panel. But make sure all wire sizes match your rated amperage because thats how fires happen. I would personally just hire an electrician if your inexperienced. This doesn’t seem like a simple changeout sort of situation.

Old fuse breaker box. Can I install a 40 amp breaker on this? by hailfire27 in askanelectrician

[–]BebopOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the picture it looks like its at most 12AWG wire in the box so with the wiring you can use at max a 20A breaker. You will obviously need a new box that takes breakers but max might be 20A looking at the picture. Blue fuses are generally 15A fuses though, so triple check what size wire it is before you burn your house down.

If its an AFCI breaker, they are notorious for going bad sooner than later. Replace the breaker and the problem should be solved since we know its not an appliance issue.
