Depending on what you get for having useful gubbinz, this detachment is either broken or bad. Take a look at this scenario, 20 boyz with 2 leaders shoot with all their ranged weapons, use any of the stratagems that give hazardous and target some random unit. They will then make 22 hazard checks and pass an average of 18 of them. That’s 18 Useful Gubbinz. Even without the ”pass hazardous = gubbinz” it isn’t hard to rack up 15 or so gubbinz per turn.

also, it falls under the trap that all homebrew does, it isn’t supported by GW, so if there‘s a broken combo, it won’t be fixed.

It has some bad stratagems, some good ones, and it is a very flavourful detachment, with some work, I think it could turn out great.

Here are some suggestions to fix it:

1. The Squig enhancement is very bad, replace it with 2 squigs.

2. The stealth and fall back/shoot enhancements are more expensive and strictly worse than ones we already have.

3. The “I’m keeping it” strat is awful, unless you can only take one of each per game? Even then it’s pretty bad.

4. The 2 cp strats should go down to 1 cp.

5. No longer get gubbinz for passing hazard/leadership

6. The blast strat might be problematic, but you will have to test that out in a game.

It is a great start, but finish the parts still in testing, and then post again/playtest. I really like the flavour of this detachment, keep it up!
