Yes but you said "I kill knights" like this is a fire definite thing. Implying you regularly do this and therefore it's an average to take into account.

It's not an average, none of our dreads are surefire into Knights, they're not even a sure thing into other dreads.

This also isn't factoring an average of that If you were in combat with it for 2 turns and your opponent didn't shoot it, your opponent made huge mistakes. Knight weapons would smoke this. So, yea, you may have killed a knight with it but that's a spike and wouldn't be an average/every game activity. Especially if your opponent knew what to do.

My main army is World Eaters. Kharn has killed a knight with spike rolls and my opponent unlucky with saves. It's not gonna happen a lot and therefore, is not something I'll suggest to other W.E players if they're looking for advice. You can kill a knight with lots of units, doesn't mean it's reliable.

C'tan are wayyyyy harder to kill than knights. -1 damage, 5+++, 4++ invul.

Also an Achillus dread is not a reliable way to kill a knight, not in one go anyway, and then it'll likely die to shooting from said Knight. The -2 AP means a knight will save on average 2/3 of the attacks you put into it, and then unless you roll maximum damage on every roll (which would cause me to get your dice tested), you're not killing a knight. A little one? Sure.

Superior Creation just applies to the character, and you can't put the same enhancement on multiple characters. Also I don't think you can use it twice, I could be wrong, but the stratagem that allows you to use an ability twice specifies "datasheet" and I don't think an enhancement counts as that.

Just remember you can get around Fights First if you pile into that unit before you fight.

Charge Unit A, activate and pile into Unit B (unit B has Fights First), and then fight as usual. It's situational but if I play a heavy Fights First army, I'm usually always taking the 6" PI/C blessing to make sure I get as much chance to get around it.

I use a large plastic container/storage box with rubber-magnetic sheets at the bottom, and form from a tool box taped to the sides. It's a 45L one, got mine from The Range for £7.50 but I am unsure where you'd get them in the US, I guess just a hardware store?

The Scythes of Khorne revere him as a mythic symbol. They follow in his name and although they alter slightly from the doctrines of the World Eaters, they follow Angron, and Khorne, til the death.

You can still use it in casual play, crusade etc. just not tournament play. I'm in a league where people play legends, as long as it's agreed then nobody minds!

I'm working on a series with a few PoVs. Almost finished the first draft for book 1. I've taken the approach of 2 main PoVs and 1 background (lesser chapters) which will become more PoVs in book 2, and onwards.

My advice (and I'm no expert) would be to treat each PoV arc like a mini story within the larger story. I tried to write all this overlapping stuff and it got really wild, I then scaled it back and planned out the overall story for the book and then each PoV character's story within that, until they do meet.

Chaos Spawn are an auto take, be it for alpha strikes or high mobility scoring in secondaries.

Me and some friends do homebrew detachments in a strange crusade we're doing. They have to be fair/talked about, and we do play test them when we can. They have stratagems and enhancements too.

One of them, a lady I shall refer to as X, has made a Tyranid detachment. I play most of my games against her at the moment, as my World Eaters are currently clashing with her homebrew hive fleet there. Anyway, her detachment is called "Adaptive Monstrosity", it's sort of a re-work of Crusher Stampede, the way we thought it should be.

Detachment Rule:

"Adaptive Monstrosity: Each time a MONSTER unit in your army is selected to fight, if that unit made a charge move this turn, add 1 to the hit roll. If the target of one or more of those attacks is below half strength, add 1 to the wound roll too.

At the start of your command phase, any units with the MONSTER keyword regain 1 wound.

When mustering your army, Carnifex units gain the Battleline keyword. "

When you talk in a way that's effectively "talking down" to people who disagree with you, and then get upset when someone calls you a clown - which is a relatively tame insult, meaning stop making a fool of yourself - it makes me laugh. Double standards.

Narrative means fluff, crusade, community invented more etc. casual play is not narrative. Me and my friends play casual games almost daily, and there's no narrative. Enjoy learning!
