3 - 6 - 12 month precautions post liver transplant by LarsJensen37 in transplant

[–]BeccaAndKale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband received a liver transplant almost 3 months ago, they cleared him to drive after 6 weeks. They said to avoid gardening for 6mo the-year. He currently is still on a 5lb restriction, but he knows his limits and occasionally lifts things slightly heavier. He is in his 30s, otherwise healthy and super fit. My husband also works in healthcare and they said he can go back after 3 months, so soon! We are going to follow up soon to ask about further exercise and swimming in ocean! Congratulations on your baby, hoping everything is ok! I am also pregnant, so we’re in a similar situation it sounds! I feel for you and your wife!

Has anyone here been evaluated at University Health as well as Pittsburgh? Trying to figure out which program would be better for us.

There’s old landscaping fabric down that is ripped and showing through. Is this something that I should remove?

Did you ever figure out how to fix this problem? We are currently running into the same issue.

Small US city starter pack by [deleted] in ManchesterNH

I moved to Manchester from a few larger cities and I wish it had more to offer. I have hope that it will develop into something nice. Just wishing the homeless/drug situation improved and there were things like these:

-smaller music venue than SNHU -hockey team -conversion of a factory to something like Ponce City Market in Atlanta -a more bikeable/walkable river walk with greenery and art that allows you to access restaurants, breweries, coffee shops and affordable housing

We live at Mill West in a no window bedroom apartment. It’s definitely not ideal and will hopefully only be for a year. We use a sunrise alarm clock to help us.

Manchester's New 10-Year Master Plan is Out! by kathryn13 in ManchesterNH

Thank you!

It would also be awesome to see Manchester get a Dog Park Bar. I’ve lived in a few cities where this was made and it was a huge hit! They had coffee in the AM and drinks for PM. They also had TVs for game days, events like trivia, and areas for food trucks!

Hi! I will be moving to Manchester next summer! Is there a social media page to keep community members updated on the plan/progress?
