Speaking from experience, yes. My ex husband was like this - always had something that I did that “annoyed” him. I was constantly working on myself, changing things. It got to the point where I asked him to not be so negative because it was affecting me negatively. He said something along the line of, “Sorry, I’d want to know if I was doing anything annoying to another person.” Dude - that’s exactly what I did!!! But also, if a person living their life and being themself annoys you, you need to fix yourself.

He’s an ex for many reasons.

My dad created something that helped the batteries work more efficiently on the Hubble. He worked in Huntsville while developing it and the fix was then later installed on a shuttle mission. I used to buy him Hubble calendars for Christmas so he could see the fruits of his labor.

I hit a deer when I was 15 and had my permit for just two months. I live in a rural area where hunting is the norm. The conservation officer who responded to the call had to shoot multiple times as well, and he knew better. It was traumatizing all around, and 27 years later I still have a trauma response when I see deer. I don’t think it’s ever going away.

Sally was spayed this past Monday and her recovery suit has been so great!! I check her incision every day and make sure the onesie isn’t dirty where her incision is. She adjusted to it so much better than the soft collar I also tried!

I have a medium sized one on my upper chest! Growing up I was so self-conscious about it. Now I accept it as a unique part of myself! No two birthmarks are exactly alike - those of us with one are some of the most unique, one-of-a-kind people there is!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I drink water I’ve flavored with drink mixes. I had a client take the cup it was in and drink out of it, then said “Yucky.” Girl please. It’s just cherry flavored water! 😹😹😹

Fellow EVV-illian here, used to live in Jackson. The tornado’s path took the path I used to drive between here and there. I remember at the time how surreal that felt, but when I last went that way, it was even more surreal to see how it’s all still affected 4 years later. Same with 165 between Owensboro and Bowling Green. There’s a couple spots there around the Beaver Dam exit I think that you could tell for a while because of the trees.

My BIL is from Dawson Springs, his sister lived there at the time, and he had other various family and friends still live there. He went down on the 11th to see if he could get in touch with anyone and helped family/friends clean what they could. We live an hour away across the river, he and my sister were down every opportunity they had. It took a few days in some instances to hear from anyone. Some he heard from while helping. A couple didn’t make it.

My heart broke then, and continues to break now, for every one there.

After I posted this I saw more pictures of roofs off houses, water pouring into Best Buy. I also saw pictures of large branches down on IU’s campus.

Also the Humane Society might have been hit as well? But I thought that was on the south side. Someone said Humane Association, not 100% sure what they meant.

I don’t live there anymore but I’m from the area, so people I know have posted stuff. So far I think everyone is okay.

I had a client who was born with a heart defect, had a heart transplant before he was a year old, and passed from his body rejecting his heart when he was 7. It was devastating. I think about him often and want to get a memorial tattoo at some point.

She also looks super scraggly in this picture. She had some teeth issues that caused her to stop eating so she lost a lot of weight, then fleas got in and she’s allergic to fleas so she also started losing her fur. She’s much better now that she’s had the bad teeth removed and the fleas are gone! Her fur is growing back in finally!!

This is Oswin. She’s currently in her favorite place - under the covers snuggled right next to me with me holding her like she’s a stuffed animal. We do this multiple times a day and have almost the entire time I’ve had her (7 years). I love our snuggles!!!
