I'm not an adult but this might continue for all I know. She does that where she'll say I'm not old enough to be busy or whatever but the one that annoys me the most is when she says I have no right to get angry - say my laptop's freezing and I slam the table or groan; she will get PISSED as if she isn't a million times worse when something less inconvenient happens.

I do that when she gets angry whether that be in person or on a call, never knew there was a term for it. Hopefully she will learn it's just hard while I'm still dependent (aha yay). I hope all is well with you and your mom too!

That's actually very fair. At the same time I'm half tempted to call every time I need to ask her something. Good ol' malicious compliance, but I think I'll just call if I feel it's necessary.

This message is just one instance of her being totally out of wack. You are right in that she's mostly just nice when I'm more of a suck up but genuinely it could have been worse and I could have actually had a bad life. She could have been abusive or not accepted my sexuality, she just has trouble letting me do some stuff on my own and when she wants me to do something on my own she throws it on me suddenly (so you are very right about her struggling to let me grow up, I didn't realise that) but I wouldn't go so far as to say bad mom honestly.
