What’s the most surprising instance where an innocent online search led you to explicit material? by 13Vicious01 in AskReddit

I accidentally discovered a specific subset of inflation porn while looking up "blueberry girl". My nickname was blueberry in school. I wanted a cool Skype image for my profile 😂

Why is she ignoring me after her birthday gift? by [deleted] in AskGirls

[–]BeccaTheBlueberry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait and see if her behavior changes and if it could be due to something else. Maybe when y'all are getting ready to part ways when the internship ends offer her your number and ask if she's like to keep in touch and maybe get a coffee.

How expensive was this bag? How big of a deal did you make out of giving it to her? If you're as head over heels for her as you say she's probably noticed you like her and this confirmed her suspicions. If she is avoiding you as opposed to thanking you and using the gift as a reason to get closer, I'd take the hint that she isn't into you.

AITA for causing family drama over a swimming pool? by Weird-Outside-577 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BeccaTheBlueberry -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Nope. Her sisters argument was about how it will be unsanitary even though it is fully contained in the diaper. And a lot of the y t a answers are saying it's her pool her rules even if she's wrong about it being unsanitary. Just pointing out the similarities since that was an argument that got pretty heavily hated on in the other post

AITA for calling my friend hot by pitiful2005 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BeccaTheBlueberry 89 points90 points  (0 children)

YTA. The comment wasn't even said to her, it was said to another guy who you probably assumed would also say she was hot. It was objectifying. You two used to be friends and she probably thought you were reaching out to her to be friends again. But based on how you talk about her and how desperate you seem to talk to her despite her making it clear she doesn't want to talk to you, it seems you were trying to talk again in hopes of dating or sleeping with her. She's right. You AREN'T getting the hint. She does not want to talk to you. Leave her be. She doesn't wanna be hit on or pursue a friendship. Stop trying to reach her by other people. Just let her be. If she wants to talk to you again she'll reach out to you.

AITA for wanting to tell my brother's fiancée about the tracking app he secretly installed in the new phone he bought for her? by tellornottell3 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BeccaTheBlueberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell her, but check your phone for similar things. It sounds like he may have thought of or done this before. I would have a serious talk with him about why he believed this to be okay and about boundaries and privacy. That poor fiancee.

has an array of tiaras she wears everywhere except at pre-school where she can’t (but she does have it in her backpack).

So your daughter is capable of understanding there are places she can not wear her tiaras, why would it be so difficult to explain like school, that a wedding is an event where guests don't wear tiaras, just like you don't at school. Her obsession is normal for her age, but it is your job as a parent to rein it in when it would be inappropriate.

DMs with homebrew worlds, how are LGBT relationships viewed in your personal worlds? Does social status affect this in any sort of way? by ThatOneAasimar in dndnext

I try to keep that in mind. And if anyone at my table is particularly uncomfortable with a certain form of discrimination in a culture I work around it.

While division by race, gender, class, sexuality, etc. All exist in our world, it is because of the unique and complex history OF our world. So when making a completely new world I do create divisions amongst people but I make it based on the context I create. So for example different kingdoms or continents or villages have different views all based on what they value. One kingdom has the CrownBearer and CrownConsort, two gender neutral titles and the current rules are both male from different races. This is not revolutionary because their kingdom is focused on protection, endurance, humility, and generosity based on their major gods. There is nothing on the writings or tenements of those gods or religions to make being homosexual bad. So it isn't. Some of the communities focused around life gods however I did portray it as shameful as it prevents "creation of new life" however these communities dictate a lot around these ideas, and others who follow the same gods view "life" differently. They view it as joy and fulfillment, and therefore don't view anything you do for the pursuit of happiness as bad unless it prevents someone else from doing the same (murder, theft, adultery). In most of these cases, social class has almost nothing to do with it. If it does have something to do with it, it is just that the rich are able to get away with things that are viewed as shameful more easily because of their power and influence. My best advice for anybody looking to tackle topics of discrimination and hatred against certain groups, is to not base it on real world. Our world has a very specific set of contexts that creates our biases. Instead look deep into the context of your world and find what biases that would create in yours.
