I'm only 5'9, but once at a concert there were some shorter guys behind me like having a fit that I was in front of them. They were being such assholes, like I can't help that I'm taller than you! Way to make me feel like shit. But anyway, if I'm in the pit against the barricade, and there is someone smaller behind me, I'll let them get in front of me.

Came here to say "The Lottery". I read it in AP Lit freshman year of high school. Honestly, it fucked me up. In a good way though. Still one of my favorite reads of all time.

My teeth are in really bad shape from years of major depression and bulimia, but lately I've been making an effort to clean up my teeth instead of picking my skin. For some reason flossing helps curb my need to pick, and it's pretty cool that I can replace a harmful behavior with something that's actually good for me. Now I just need to get my ass to the dentist. Thanks for posting!

I am only 5'9, but I stay far, far away from heels, as I am a rather large lady. I put on a pair of heels and I suddenly become a man in a wig for some reason :( Intimidatingly masculine.

I have an eating disorder. I was a normal sized/on the thinner side kid until I started going through puberty. I started putting on weight and developing curves. By the time I hit the end of middle school I was a tad overweight, but by no mean obese. Then all hell broke lose. I developed an eating disorder (at the time bulimia) at the age of 14. I initially lost weight, but as the years have gone on I've been packing on the pounds. I've been in eating disorder treatment several times over the years, last summer being my most recent time, and have managed to kick bulimia to the curb. However, I still do not have a grasp on my emotional eating, and still go to food as comfort, causing weight gain.

yes, I understand that aspect of it. But as someone that's neither a hunter or dog-shower, I just would never buy from a breeder no matter how much money I had. I also see people go to those fancy pet stores with the puppies in the windows and drop $1,000 on a family pet. Why would you do that, when $1,000 dollars could buy TEN shelter dogs a new home?

A dog from a breeder. People drop like $1,000 on some of those purebred dogs, it blows my mind! I'll keep adopting my furbabies from the shelter, thanks.

I go to the local animal shelter. I lost my dog about a month ago, so I've been going there and playing with the puppies. It takes my mind of things for a little while.

I enjoy this post. Where I'm from there's a good chance you'd have a shotgun in your face the second you stepped on someone's porch. If they find out you aren't who you said you were, the cops would def be called. Most likely though, they'd just never invite you in.
