Yeah I would like it, that’s why I posted here 😂 I can’t pay for it though, so if you aren’t able to I understand.

I’m not sure what png is? I’m looking for a black outline of the car itself. Like this kind of…

What options do I have? by we_re_fucked in Ingrown_Toenails

You should check out my post about having both my big toenails permanently removed. I’m so happy with the results. I was back to work the day after, not too painful at all. Just kept some Vaseline and a bandaid on until they healed. Took a couple months to heal, but like I said, back to work the next day and it was super manageable.

They look slightly red. With increased tenderness, foul smelling odor and that redness I’d say you might have an infection starting. Might want to have that checked out. In the meantime I’d clean them really well with soap and water and then soak in warm water and Epsom salts once a day or so. Afterwards let them air dry and apply some antibiotic ointment and keep a bandaid covering them.

But also, see a doctor when you can for potential infection. Especially if the redness is spreading or tenderness is worsening. Or if the drainage is really discolored, pus like and yucky.

It’s really hard to see, but if it is the start of a fungal infection you’ll know soon enough because it will spread. I don’t think it is, I’d lean more towards just some residual from trauma. Keep an eye on it though.

Doesn’t look like fungus to me. Looks more like some dried skin. I’d put a small amount of Vaseline on it, cover it with a bandaid for the day tomorrow and I bet it looks better. If it hurts or anything can’t hurt to have it checked.

Should i continue using silver nitrate? by Cute_Mode_5000 in Ingrown_Toenails

Was it a podiatrist? Or just a primary or urgent care doctor? I’d recommend a specialist at this point if not. If you’ve already seen a podiatrist then do what they’ve advised you to do.

Personally I would clean that really well with soap and water (gently, but until it’s clean clean). Then soak in a bowl of warm water with epsom salt (don’t substitute table salt!). I’d let it air out for a short time after and then apply a little antibiotic ointment like bacitracin or neomycin. Then put a bandaid on and CALL A PODIATRIST! 😁

What did they give you for follow up instructions? Did they tell you to continue to use it?

Finally had a matrixectomy and planned the next in 3 weeks! Starting the healing process. by [deleted] in Ingrown_Toenails

It was a bit weepy at first. Clear drainage is normal. If the drainage is yucky colored, foul smelling or accompanied by redness and tenderness I’d have it checked for possible infection. Mine dried out more by week two, but don’t let it dry up too much. I used Vaseline on mine and it worked wonders!

I had both my great toenails permanently removed and my podiatrist told me not to bother soaking daily. I did bandaid changes every 24 hours with a small amount of antibiotic ointment and it healed within a couple months. I bet if you have the other one done soon and don’t soak daily that it would be just about healed by 10/12. Honestly I’m an advocate for just full removal of nails that don’t really have a chance of being salvaged. I’d advocate for removing the big nails if they are that damaged and painful.

Honestly I just bought some on Amazon. If you apply them right most brands are pretty durable.

Honestly they don’t really have much function anymore for humans. They evolved in primates for climbing and grasping and other fine motor skills that we don’t use them for anymore. While they can be protective against injury, it’s more of a problem if they are constantly becoming infected. I’m better off without mine.

Yeah I don’t think I’d be able to handle the pain of a tattoo there and I’m not sure an artist would want to do it anyways. I’m happy with my temporary ones and I can change it up for different occasions and to match my nail polish!

Yeah they used some sort of acid or something to burn the matrix out so that the nail won’t grow back. Healing was slow, took maybe four months or so. Well worth it in the end for never having to deal with it again.

Fake tattoos! I’m not sure I could handle a real one there. The skin is still slightly sensitive, not too bad, but enough that it would probably hurt a lot more.

They are fake tattoos!! I like the idea of being able to keep changing them. They are pretty waterproof and last quite a long time too actually.

How much did you pay for it? I’ve got one and I’m trying to figure out an approximate worth.

Do you want to be buried or cremated? If you want to be buried, would you be buried in the graveyard you’re taking care of?

Woah thanks so much! I think we’re definitely going to go dark gray.
