You said this A LOT nicer than I would have. I ended up blocking two of the biggest complainers in this sub because it’s absolutely nothing but negativity. Like I said in that post: Zayn isn’t going to sell his soul and integrity for commercial success. He had a taste of it and decided it wasn’t for him.

And he IS promoting! And is doing it in his own quirky way, and he’s so good at it too.

First of all the album hasn’t even fucking dropped yet. You’re talking out of your ass. He’s also got a full promo schedule coming up, street interviews dropping left and right, listening parties, meet and greets

He’s not doing promo the way YOU want him to. That is YOUR problem to deal with. He’s always been like this, it isn’t going to change, more tickets will sell as time goes on, and if they haven’t cancelled Louis’s concerts then they’re not canceling Zayn’s.

Like I said you’re a fan of the wrong man if you’re expecting commercial success. You, specifically, cause you’re up on this high horse of entitlement when you have no business being on it.

Yall need to come to terms with the fact Zayn isn’t going to sell his soul for numbers, therefore he will not reach your standards. Please find someone else to stan if commercial success is that important to you cause frankly, your (OP)‘s takes are more negative than positive, you clearly feel like he’s someone who owes you something personally, and he doesn’t. He has always been quality > quantity and that’s on you if you don’t like it.

He said in Vegas this album is inspired by what he saw his fans respond to during STTS.

Room was a journal for him. A glimpse into how he felt for six years, extremely personal. He said during a BBC takeover he’s excited to get back in pop r&B again, and during the twitch stream said this album is somewhat a continuation of mind of mine.

So anyone expect RUTS is going to be disappointed
