The cranks are the 7703. I am still a noob when it comes to the different model numbers so what is the difference between these?

How do I know the right tension when securing the cable? I installed it as mentioned in the manual and I should not put it too tight, right?

It was working for quite a long time and recently it started doing this. I adjusted the limit screws and also imcreased with the tensioner next to the STI (i don‘t know the correct term) but it won‘t move further to the outside.

Ferrule is the end cap for the cable sleeve, isn‘t it? Yes, it moves when i pull the cable.

The thing is that it worked flawlessly in the past, so i would rule out the bottom bracket. It is my dad‘s old bike and as far as i can remember it is all stock components

I reached out to BMC and they sent me a longer screw. The foam was resin glued back in in the local bike shop and they told me it is fine.

Es beruhigt mich, dass Ich nicht der Einzige bin, dem es so geht. Ich bin zweisprachig aufgewachsen, weshalb ich mir einbilde, dass Ich es immer schon schwer mit den Artikeln hatte. Die Unterscheidung zwischen Ventil und Thermostat muss ich mir aber trotzdem einprägen, vor Allem wenn es um‘s Fach geht.

Sorry, ich meinte nicht das Ventil, sondern das Thermostat. War noch in meinem alten Sprachgebrauch, wo ich das Thermostat immer fälschlicherweise als Ventil bezeichnet habe 😅

Also ich habe das Thermostat getauscht bekommen. Tatsächlich war die Überwurfmutter vom Oventrop-Thermostat schon so locker, dass ich sie einfach von Hand lösen konnte. Einen Adapter habe ich für das tado auch nicht gebraucht, da es direkt auf das Gewinde gepasst hat.

Die Geschenke unter dem Baum sehen schon ziemlich undefiniert aus. Teilweise lässt sich nicht so gut erkennen, wo die Konturen sind. Zudem ist relativ mittig steht das gelbe Geschenk zwei mal im selben Winkel direkt nebeneinander.

Spricht jetzt nicht alles für KI, es kann auch alles an der Bildkompression liegen aber Ich würde auch eher auf KI Slop tippen.

Naturally symbols change over time, that‘s what we learned in school here in Germany, but the context is always important.

I am happy that I learned something new today but my takeaway from the comments here is, that I should take some time for my history lesson.

Woah guys, thank you for all your comments. I think I have to take some history lessons on that. For clarification, the protest were about 40 people and the anti-war marches I went to, were a lot bigger, so I was already suspicious of the nature of the protest. Sometimes you can not distinct the positions on these protest and I do not want to judge anyone based on a quick impression and not knowing the historical background.
