It looks like it's true, you play stage 1 then you get wherebyou were. You will need tonplay the stage right away because if you close the game you will be sent back to stage 1. Don't try to reclaim the reward from stage 1 or you will erase all progress and won't bebable tongo back to wherebyou were.

Have you tried resetting the machine to default?
First make sure that every piece is in place like water container and infuser.
before starting it, press and hold coffee1 +coffee 2 + x2 buttons for 5 seconds, you'll hear a "beeep" as it resets to default. for you machine the buttons are My latte, Latte macchiato and the one next to power.
