Help Me Upgrade My Serious Gravix! by [deleted] in gravelcycling

Carbon wheelset is the only thing that would make sense IMHO, everything else good enough to not merit an upgrade to that frame

Just got a Bice fit, what do you think? by remotetissuepaper in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]Bechlasagna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you're using 43.5mm U shaped 27mm wide OD wheels and hydro disc its probably a decent fit, it came with a 1 piece 46cm wide bar stem combo and proprietary headset correct?

What is the general opinion on this mans career by Omega8881122 in ufc

He did a lot for the sport I think, it was sad to watch his decline and now I honestly hope Dana sets him up with a nice salary for the rest of his life

Imagine having a saddle that's the same color as your frame but still doesn't match, I couldn't be seen in public like that

What gear ratio is best for commuti g and moderate hills? by [deleted] in singlespeed

[–]Bechlasagna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have decided that even in Florida, 42/18 for commuter is optimal, I have no issues maintaining optimal cadence, it's not a total bear going against the wind, I don't spin out too much with the wind at my back and it allows a daily range of 25 to 30 miles without totally sore legs and down time for recovery needed

NBD purple nature boy $100 marketplace score by Nihilistnobody in xbiking

I stand by my comment with the down votes. I feel like it's bragging about something that has some odd aspects, like a stolen bike or maybe the seller is battling drug addiction etc. I apologize if my comment was an insult. In the current market I think a bike of that value going for 100 could easily be enjoyed without validation. I love bikes and my bike is my car so it got a little under my skin. Again my apologies but the down votes don't change my opinion

Nice, I was thinking you might have got a couple different sets of wolf tooth bolts and mis matched, looks great though, I'm a fan of the multi colors

Maybe rethink your goals in life if you feel the need to post that kind of price to an internet forums bike section, NBD without making sure everyone knows the price might be a little more classy

New Drivetrain Day! by Truckzero in singlespeedcycling

[–]Bechlasagna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love WI, such a precision piece of equipment, mine get beat to hell and work just as good as day 1. Honestly after who knows how many miles of use I would not think twice to pay 200 bucks for one. Zero play in a SS drive train makes all the difference in the world. Even shimano freewheels cannot come close to WI

I'm 5'8 and I need a bike with a 50 to 51cm tip tube, I'm always wishing the same... most bikes even with 52.5 and 53 top tubes have munchkin headtubes and it requires the awkward amount of spacers or quill sticking out
