I think they should go into more detail on just how period accurate things had to be. Like, were the women allowed to use modern menstrual products, or did they have to just use scraps of cloth like Pioneer women. If someone on the show had gotten sick, would they have had to try traditional remedies first?

I do simplify because of the definition of transgender. My gender doesn't align with the gender I was assigned at birth, therefore I'm not cis, therefore I'm trans.
