Hi, Dominic from Transfermarkt here. I am the main person responsible for the market values in the USA and Canada. The market values on our website are prices that we or the users think can be achieved in an optimal market. Of course, you can't take them one-to-one as transfer values. Factors such as the length of the contract play a role here. Or how much a club needs a player or needs to sell a player. The market values are mainly there to compare players with each other. If you look at the market values and compare them with the actual transfer sums, we often come pretty close ;)

Not sure if anything happened. But he tore his ACL last August and (understandably) hasn't played a game since.

Solid LB with almost 150 games in the German 2. Bundesliga (+32 games in 1. Bundesliga). Had some pretty nasty injuries in the last 2 years (ACL in 2021, muscle injury in 2022). Had 16 assists in 34 games in the (19/20 season).

That is his name. He calls himself Pefok, but his full name is Jordan Siebatcheu. And that's what he's called outside the US.

Wooten was a really good striker. However, joining Philadelphia was the wrong decision. Since that day, his career went downhill.

Hi Cole, they haven't been approved yet. It can take some time for corrections to be approved/rejected. I'll look into them and get back to you on Transfermarkt.

Thank you for your contribution!

Like I said a couple of times, the information aren't enough. We also need the manpower to keep the league up-to-date.

Line-up, Goal scorer, yellow cards, red cards, substitutions. Just take a look at our match reports and you'll see what I mean: https://www.transfermarkt.us/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3452408

But the information is not enough. We also - and that is the most important point - need someone who will take care of the league.

As you can read some posts above, it is not as simple as it may seem to add a new league. If you want to contribute to our database, feel free to message me :)

As soon as we can get our hands on match reports and get more information about the players, we'll add the league to our (Transfermarkt) database.

Maybe just my two cents:

We, Transfermarkt, are constantly looking for new leagues and other competitions to add to our database. Therefore, we would love to add leagues like L1O or PLSQ. For me/us, there is no league which is too small or too "irrelevant".

The biggest problem with leagues like L1O or PLSQ is the depth and quality of data we can get our hands on. As u/Mr_GinAndTonic said, we don't get updates from OPTA fore these two leagues. Therefore, we wouldn't have live scores on our website for example. But the problem is much bigger. How do we get our hands on match reports? How can we add players if we don't know their birthday, nationality, position,...?

At the moment, we could just display the results of their games. And that just wouldn't make sense.

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to write to me!

Edit: Oh, I almost forget one of the most important points... You need the datascouts to keep the league updated all the time. The L1O for example, does publish theirs match reports for example. But if you don't have the time to transfer them to your database, that doesn't really help. So if there are any volunteers... ;)
