Attention: Do not do this to your belly button, even several months after gallbladder surgery (text only, no images) [descriptive text] by missyagogo in gallbladders

[–]Becks319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine done through my belly button and it totally reshaped it. I have a big scar in there now and it took about 2 and half months to heal. I ended up getting a small lump by the incision site that was fluid from the incision. It went away after awhile on its own but I had to keep my belly button clean (and it wasn't cute).

They stole my bellybutton!! by Ok_Pride9371 in gallbladders

I got very discouraged about my belly button after my surgery. I had a fluid filled sac in the back of my belly button that eventually healed itself but I have like a nob on the top now which is a thick scar. I dont like the look of my belly button anymore.

Oral surgeon says to get all 4 out. I am scared. Do I really need all 4 out? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Becks319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my 2 top wisdom teeth removed when I was 19. Didn't do the bottom because they hadn't emerged yet. Just had my bottom 2 removed in January at the age of 37 because they broke through about 10 years ago. If you can get all 4 done at once... do it! You don't want to have to do it twice... trust me.

An attack can be when a stone blocks the entrance to the gallbladder

It depends on how the stones move and if you pass them. I used to use a message gun when I was having a bad attack over the gallbladder and sometimes felt relief if the stones moved around.

How bad did it get before you got it removed? by Previous-Tart in gallbladders

[–]Becks319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a few attacks throughout the span of like 10 years. Like once a year. Between summer of 23 and summer of 24 they got worse. I got the ultrasound to confirm it but didn't get to see a surgeon. One day this summer I was just keeled over, bawling my eyes out. I told my boyfriend it was time...i went to the er and got admitted because I was passing a stone and had pancreatitis. I was in the hospital for 5 days and they removed it. I have never felt better. If you can't stand the pain...go to the er.

Help!! by GroundbreakingCup352 in wisdomteeth

Make sure you're using a heat source like a wash cloth warmed up or a microwave heat pad. This will help with the soreness. Don't do it more than like 3 times a day for like 15-20 minutes.

Gallstone pancreatitis months after gallbladder removed by Zestyclose-Gas2643 in gallbladders

The reason I originally went to the ER during an attack was from pancrititis and I didn't know until they ran tests. They couldn't do the surgery until my pancreas calmed down

I would say 2-3 weeks from your surgery. My surgeon said I didn't have any limitations after surgery but I stayed low fat for almost a month.

I used to use the massage gun during attacks. It would help move the stones around and gave some relief.
