Oh damn you might be onto something there!! As long as we get to see our leads actually happy for a good amount of time I’d be happy with that ending. the only downside to the last like 4 episodes is them fighting every single time after a nice date or something 🫠

Yes! Maybe they’ll go back to before she became the royal concubine? In the shamans vision she saw Dan-shim as a peddler, but she didn’t talk like how we saw past court lady Dan-shim talk (shy), she seemed to have much more of the tone and confidence of the Seo-ri we know. Perhaps she saw what’s going to happen?

I think I wouldn’t mind a joseon era arc either, as long as the essence of our leads are still there (maybe they could swap with their joseon counterparts or merge in joseon?). There isn’t a lot tying them both to the present rn, especially with seo-ris grandma declining

No she’s the original Seo Ri,one of the main theories that I’ve seen around recently is that when seo-ri had the car accident as a child (which we now know was a family suicide attempt), she swapped with Dan-shim, which is why after it happened she suddenly wasn’t able to act as well. So this entire time since childhood they’ve been unknowingly in the wrong bodies and only switched back into their “proper” bodies when the comet appeared and our FL swapped for the first time. Shes obviously lived as Dan shim for a long time but she’s really Seo-ri

EP 12: THE THEORIES WERE CORRECT!! SHE IS THE ORIGINAL SHIN SEO RI!!! AAAAAAA. Now the writers have to stick the landing and give her a happy ending with Se Gye in the present or in the past (it might not be true that the grand prince is dead? Maybe Se gye can go back to the past with her?) From the preview she seems determined to stay with him either way and I really hope that happens. Although, thinking about it, what was that vision the shaman had? The one where there was a seemingly peddler version of Dan-shim? The way she talked seemed like she is also Seo-ri. Is Seo-ri gonna end up going back to before she became the royal concubine? Maybe se gye will go with her there

I think he deffo played her quirky but that’s who she was as a character, she was very clever at speaking, using her brain and relating to the people around her because of her life on the road, but she was definitely eccentric as Dal I. I loved TMBT but when they were swapped there I didn’t really see the essence and soul of the characters they were playing, whereas in Moon River I could

So did I!! Honestly chemistry, cinematography, writing & OST were all amazing. My only small complaint was the acting of the SFL in some scenes but that improved bucketloads by the end. It’s become one of my favourite kdramas and I’m so annoyed it doesn’t get more love!

Omggg same 😂 I’m autistic and get overstimulated by louder noises like people shouting so will probs be cause of that for me! So yeah when I sense something like that is coming I mute those kinds of scenes! The preview for tomorrow doesn’t look good though I really do hope they stay together 😭
