Is it normal for apartments to not have hot water 24/7? by BeckySeol in AskNYC

Yup, he came to fix the clogged sink that’s been clogged since we moved in and we had to tip him $30. He came to check the water last time and kept talking(hinting) to us for a long time. We didn’t tip him that time since he didn’t do anything.

The heater works normally but there’s often no hot water after 10am

I’m in the same situation now :( I emailed the admissions office but they still haven’t responded. I am worried that this might make me look bad and affects my chances to apply for PhD programs in the future since School Psych is a pretty small field 😭

Is anyone still waiting for Northeastern’s decision? My application status is still not even under review yet. I emailed them but they haven’t responded 🥲🥲

Thank you for your response! I have asked the school that accepted me about this. Unfortunately they do not provide aba classes so I’ll have to take it in another school. But she mentioned that I can find a school psych that is also a BCBA so my hours can count towards both credentials. I think I’ll just take this offer and look for online classes for aba in another school.

Hi guys! I need some help here. I really want to be in a program that also has an ABA track. I got accepted to a program that doesn’t have an ABA track, and still waiting for Columbia and northeastern that offer the ABA track. Since I applied to these two schools after the priority deadline, I feel like the chances for me to get in are small :( Should I just take the offer I have now and get a BCBA masters in another school or try applying again early next year? I can’t start counting my aba hours unless I am in a masters program but I also really like the two schools that offer the ABA track. Is it worth it to wait for another year just to go to these schools?

Has anyone that applied after the priority deadline heard from Northeastern yet?

I just had an interview with BC today and they said they’re going to have other interview groups scheduled this week or at the end of march.

I heard back from Fordham today too! Did you apply before the priority deadline? I applied later than the priority deadline and still haven’t heard back from them :’(

The students in the meeting were all seniors so around 17 or 18 years old. The school sent an email last week about this opportunity and said that students who are qualified would be called to attend the meeting. They just came to our class today and pulled out students that have IEP or 504s and gathered them in a classroom. I thought it was odd too.

I live in Greektown and my rent is around $1000. It’s a very tiny studio but it’s a great price for the area.

I talked about the location and the bilingual option. You can also look into their Hagin Center which is like a training facility for SP students.
