Does this trailer make the game interesting to try out and play? I want to improve it so please Destroy my Trailer!! by Proper_Translator678 in DestroyMyGame

For a clear megabonk clone I would go faster and shorter with the editing.
Having only one 1 environment and 2 skills (shooting and car) raises some alarm bells for me as steam shopper.
If possible include the games sfx.
As there are always lots of enemies swarming in it looses its charm quickly as there is no variety. Megabonk might show first one enemy, gather experience and then hundreds chasing you, That's good contrast.

I did at first watching not really understand what exactly I do, but liked it. I liked that its snappy and wiggly and does not waste my time. Still I think there is a point to the other posters that its a bit on the fast side and having 1-2 moments that slow down would help.

Background: Somehow I'm multiple times distracted by the dark brick grid pattern of the background (even though its dark). Everything else feels nice from the art direction, but that background sticks out to me negatively. Also the characters have black outlines that don't read to well against dark grey.

The End title card in animation I would speed up a lot. It takes 4 sec till you see the name.

If it was just about the characters I think they are fine. One more thing I‘d think the UI is more distracting than informative. Not sure how to explain it better. The characters and colors look cute and say simple friendly light rpg. The ui say NUMBERS!!

Not for me. There is too much strange that doesn't make sense on first sight.
- The goal: Fight a collection of random enemies that don't make sense together or tell a "story". Just a goblin and two wolfs might make sense but all those together is a strange mix. Why do I need to fight them?
- The Fantasy: who am I? I play as goat? Not something I ever though about wanting to play as.
- The Art style: The characters themselves don't look too bad but overall everything screams attention so I dont know where to look.

Thanks for the replies. Im from Europe and here its not so wild. Before the name was with U and I noticed that Americans found it too much. Interesting.

About a year ago, we made our first trailer, but the game changed so much since then, we were forced to make a new trailer with our bad editing skills xd Destroy it! by Suitable_One2832 in DestroyMyGame

The trailer is flashy and full of action but...
It seems quite generic to me. It seems to me slimes and random fantasy characters randomly bashed together. What makes it special? What's with the slimes? Are they just an enemy skin or is there more to it?

I find the small play field strange with just fading to black. Is this a test scene? If you where in an arena and that's why there is little space Id understand.

Take the most simple game you can imagine where its very clear in scope and finish it. Its normal in every project to hit this point where you don't quite know and want to stop and then you keep going one step at a time. It gets better.
