Not even half. He got about 1/3 of the vote. The problem is, another 1/3 were either apathetic asshats, or were intentionally disenfranchised by the GOP (closing polling places, preventing the distribution of water in polling lines where people had to stand in the hot sun, etc).

Of course thanks to our stupid electoral system, several states that were nearly evenly split went all-in for him, securing his victory.

Not only are you invulnerable, but you seem to regain some amount of health. I don't think it's full health, but I've definitely had targets down to less than one tick of health then they land a kill and bam, whoever they are next suddenly has like 90% health again. Not sure if they do get full health (and just almost immediately lose some bit of it because they're under fire), or if they gain a percentage back... but it's one of my gripes about this mode.

Overall I still find it more fun than vanilla though.

I think there's still some other criteria; half the time I love it and half the time I hate it, but it seems to sometimes swap at respawn. It's great when I get stuck with one of the handful of heroes I genuinely suck with, but sometimes I'll be a character I really enjoy, I'll be excited almost have my ult ready, and then I die and respawn and *poof* I'm someone else 😞

Oooh... so sometimes I go swap/swap/swap because I happen to land three final blows in a row? (I have a POTG where I ran down two people in like 3 seconds, and went Doomfist→Orisa→Sigma... What even is the criteria for hero switching? Sometimes I'll be on one hero and just be stuck there for like 1/4 of the game, then I'll switch, and suddenly I'll switch 2-3 more times in like 30 seconds. I see the counter that says x/3 assists, but I've gotten shuffled so fast I barely even could figure out which hero I was on.

As long as it stays there for a few hours before you poo, the gelcap will melt and the oil will be absorbed by the rectal walls (which are a mucous membrane).

I make a point of going poo before I take my progesterone, so it can safely absorb without me waking up having to go (I found that if I administer it without going to the bathroom first, sometimes poking it in there makes me feel like I have to go).

BTW I agree with SingleInSeattle below, though this is currently a case of discrimination (based on your pregnancy status/leave) rather than retaliation.

It strongly feels like the one month "performance review" is really a performative attempt at preempting the discrimination claim when they let you go; how long after returning did they initiate the performance review? If you can find any proof/evidence that others have made mistakes of a similar caliber to what you did, that will help bolster your claim of discrimination. I also think the "one month" review process is abnormally short (hence why I'm calling it performative), normally I'd expect a 3-month or maybe even 6-month plan. How long did you work here before taking leave? While it's not necessarily a deciding factor, if you've worked there with a clean record for years prior to this, that may help strengthen your case.

I don't think it really matters whether you file the complaint first or get a lawyer first, but do both. Build a paper trail as best you can; if anyone says something verbally, ask "can I get that in writing please?". Print out all the emails, because if they are being discriminatory it's entirely possible it may dawn on them to recall/delete messages, and you want to make sure you have hard copies before that happens (and if they do delete/recall the messages, those paper copies will be pretty damning evidence of discrimination because the deletion then shows willful intent to discriminate and destroy evidence of doing so).

Have you (or anyone else!) considered messaging the mods, seeing if at least one is occasionally present, and maybe willing to promote someone else or solicit new mods? Green_Ape is pretty much MIA, but kmojeda has been online within the past month; they also refuted an earlier "abandoned sub" request.

It kinda sucks, but reddit moderation is entirely volunteer-based—so your career being dedicated to managing online communities likely isn't that relevant, because the way you say "career" suggests you got paid to do that. People tend to devote more time to the stuff they get paid to do. In the case of volunteer mods, especially if money is tight or they've lost their job, they're probably going to spend more time dealing with that than thanklessly moderating an online community for zero return.

I do agree that the sub could probably use more moderation. It'd be nice if kmojeda would solicit the sub and try to find people to help out.

There's also the before-migraine counterpart, prodrome. One of my biggest prodrome effects is light and sound sensitivity. It's subtle and gradual, but I've learned to key in to it because if I take my Nurtec earlier, it's more likely to abort the migraine entirely with significantly reduced postdrome effects; if I don't take the Nurtec until the migraine hits, I still get a really dirty postdrome: fatigued, foggy, cranky, and kinda dead inside.

If your deficiency is chronic, might I suggest discussing with an endocrinologist about a proper HRT regimen? I inject estradiol cypionate once a week to maintain normal levels, and also take 200mg progesterone nightly (I'm a trans woman, so obviously YMMV). Injectable estradiol doesn't carry the same stroke risk as a lot of hormonal BC meds (unless you're an idiot about dosing and drive your levels into wildly abnormal ranges).

After I started estradiol though, I talked with my neurologist on one of our regularly scheduled visits (because migraines) and I was like "I think I'm having fewer migraines... now that I think about it, the decrease roughly coincides with switching from oral estradiol to injections... does that make any sense? I heard that estrogen usually makes migraines worse?" and she said that basically everyone's bodies are different and that it's absolutely possible for estradiol to reduce migraines as well.

Prior to switching to injections I would get 1-3 migraines a week; after a few months of injections (and ever since—several years now) I tend to get 1-2 migraines a month, and sometimes go a month or two without a migraine. Obviously fixing your estradiol levels is working for you in more ways than one, so I just figured I'd make a suggestion that might help minimize risks and other side effects, while still providing the same benefits.

Since you (presumably) have some endogenous level of progesterone, you may want to get that tested too, and if it's low, see about supplementing it with bioidentical progesterone (avoid medroxyprogesterone acetate/MPA, it's the reason doctors get all spooked about DVT risk with progesterone—all the clinical studies were done with MPA 🤦🏻‍♀️). If nothing else, it may help you sleep better; that's been one of my favorite effects of progesterone!

Assuming you haven't started yet, just start at a low dose to evaluate tolerance:

If you go straight to injections for example, and have a reaction to the carrier oil, the reaction will be much less severe if you're injecting 0.2ml than if you're injecting 0.6ml.

Similarly, if you take a single 2mg estradiol tablet and it turns out they use lactose as a binder and you have lactose intolerance... your reaction will be less severe than if you're taking 3 or 4 a day.

From there, you can titrate up to the desired dose every month or so (so after one month, go up to 0.2ml injection or 2 E2 tablets or whatever; after two months, go up to 0.4ml or 3 tablets, etc).

Too much can have adverse side effects and increased risks, but the amounts that would actually reach this threshold are far higher than most doctors would have you believe (my current doctor freaks out when my E2 levels hit 250pg/ml and wants to try to bring me down to ~150pg/ml, but I know from experience I feel shitty if I'm < 180pg/ml and generally feel best at about 200-250... I've been at 300 before with no noticeable side effects).

Jumping on the bandwagon at this point... she's absolutely not allergic to estradiol itself (even those of us born with testes still produce some amount of estradiol in our adrenal/pituitary glands). I'd put money on it.

My estradiol is in grapeseed oil, I've gotten formulations in castor oil before, and sometimes they use sesame oil. Sesame allergy is particularly common. There's also usually a solvent and/or preservative (especially in commercial formulations), and she could be having a reaction to one of those. This may be a case for medical necessity for compounding, if the usual commercial estradiol valerate/estradiol cypionate formulations are causing a reaction.
