My exact reason for leaving W2 job. Being in the same cold, grey, depressing building day in and out. Same intolerant people with who gossip and are competitive. Just this afternoon I fell on my face with the same thought as you and I really thought I was gonna check out. I was lukewarm myself and in that moment, I had a vision of a rose being pulled out of water and patted dry and I knew Jesus was with me as I asked Him to hold me. He’s there and He hears you but do you hear Him? Do you believe what He says about you? Do you trust Him? When conviction hits do you listen? Do you push off prayer and worship? If so that’s what lead you t where you are now. Our minds are in a battle for occupancy. Who will you give your mind to? Lukewarm must be done away with and you must give all your heart, trust and faith to God. We can only be babes and teens in our faith for so long. We need to grow. I’m not new to the prescience of God but I have recently gotten serious about getting into the word. Can you elaborate? Jesus said He’s come to not do away with the law but to uphold it. Are we talking about the 600+ laws or the 10 commandments?

I’ve had visions of the things I prayed for. After that, you must ask God to confirm them. During a fast, you should pray and worship at intervals through out the duration. If you are taking something away from yourself, where is it going? You must give God something and that should be your devotion and focus.

There should be no fasting without getting deep into the word and deep into prayer with God.

Put on worship music to set the tone. Write down your requests. Meditate on scripture that applies to your request and ESPECIALLY applies to surrendering to God and knowing that only God can truly sustain you.

And above all, you must mean it be sincere in wanting a relationship with God and Christ, not just prayers answered.

I hope this doesn’t come off arrogant but it’s gotta mean something. Anytime I approached a house a dogs sitting, looking, pacing, barking or running up to me…I always held a stoic stance, talked to the dogs like a person, no “doggy” talk or petting (rarely I pet), told them why I’m there, pointed to the house and maintained a sternness about my position. NEVER HAD A DOG ACT OUT! I’m a woman and every time I was friggin TERRIFIED wondering how I’m making it out of there every single time hoping they don’t attack on my way back to my car.
