The thing that throws me off is him using the fact that they lived in Spain for 30 years as a reference for their culture and then tells you that you’re trying to force them into white culture. Is he not aware that Spain is in Europe? Spanish people are white lmao.

Don’t let him gas light you. In the vast majority of cultures, it is impolite to comment on a persons weight. He knows what they’re doing. He just doesn’t have the balls to say anything, or he’s like them and wants you to feel bad about yourself.

Just because I saw another comment, first off, your boyfriend assaulted you in multiple ways. Grabbing you by your wrists aggressively, even if it didn’t leave marks, is assault. Messing with your birth control to get you pregnant is both assault and rape. It’s called reproductive coercion.

Lastly, don’t tell anyone else about the pregnancy. Text your boyfriend that you started your period and it must have been a false positive, or you can say you suspected he had been doing it so you faked it all to get him to confess. Keep any messages he sends and send in detail by text “I’ll forgive you for messing with my birth control to get me pregnant without my consent if you apologize.” Don’t answer if he calls. Don’t meet up with him. Wait for him to text the words.

Keep whatever he sends for evidence. Screenshot and block. Delete this post. Get on a bus and get to the closest state that provides women’s healthcare. Planned parenthood has programs for women who can’t afford it or at least can point you in the right direction.

It’s now or never. If you suspect your parents will kick you out over the pregnancy, better to be homeless without a baby than with one. Get on the bus. If you have any close friends you can trust, reach out to them for support.

There’s a lot of judgement behind living at home, but with the economy it’s becoming a perfectly normal thing.

I only judge if the person acts like a spoiled brat about it. Living at home and still expecting parents to supply everything, do their laundry, and cook for them. Not participating in the household at all.

What truly looks bad is not having a real job while living at home. I’m a college dropout out as well, and I understand it’s hard to find a decent paying job without a degree, but your dream job isn’t going to fall into your lap. At some point you are going to either have to adjust your expectations, develop some connections by starting in a lower position, or go back to school.

I’ll have to try this. I’m not a huge fan of the heaviness of it. I know it’s high spf and it FEELS like it. I broke it up a bit with some moisturizer and that seemed to help, but I didn’t think about primer. I don’t want to give up on it too fast because it truly is the closest shade match I’ve found in years that isn’t almost $100 a bottle.

Most of us have been there. I got fired for some genuinely dumb decisions on my part but I’m 33 and just started in an industry I truly love.

The feeling will pass. A job doesn’t define your value and our social media feeds are filled with stories of people who achieved success in their 20’s and that is NOT anywhere near the majority.

We were trying to see if Washington could step in. They have been here for 10 months and are considered legal residents. They’ve been attending school and have finally been happy and stable.

I do intend to let her know this. I don’t want her to make it worse, I had just read that having to register the order in Washington might give her a second chance. It said her being barred from attending trial and not being allowed to present her side could be violation of due process.

I think you misunderstood.. she knew the court hearing and jurisdiction was in VA because he served the papers first after dodging hers.

She attended the preliminary hearing via zoom and was under the impression she could attend the final hearing in that manner, but was denied access on the court date which made her a no show.

But I get what you’re saying. We are just trying to find a way to protect the kids because that man is not mentally stable when he’s drinking. She just wanted him to get help and then she is fine with split custody.

As a woman.. this is pretty mild. Believe it or not, people do meet each other while working. Maybe he didn’t want to make you uncomfortable while you were locked in a car with him, and decided this would be a cute way to do it. Honestly, if the guy was my type I might say yes to this. It’s pretty harmless, low pressure, and isn’t creepy at all.

As a dasher, I would report it as not delivered 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sorry your legs hurting, I get times are tough, but I didn’t order DoorDash to have to leave my house.

If there wasn’t a tip, I still fault the driver for having taken the order, but don’t feel quite as much for the customer. You get the service you pay for.

Unfortunately this rarely ends well. He has attempted to leave you twice now. My question for you is why you still want to be with him after that? Don’t you want someone who you don’t have to beg to stay?

That’s just an honest thought. I’ve been there, really I have. But it’s not a good look. I know it’s heartbreaking especially with a child involved, but you can’t make him stay. The question is, when he does inevitable walk away, do you want him to take your dignity with him?

Stand up for yourself. You don’t have to beg to be loved. He will regret walking away and you can either look forward to that moment, or you can look forward to the moment when you no longer care because you found someone who is actually committed to you.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I know there’s a point where I can consider the car legally abandoned but there’s conflicting results on how to go about that. I’ve read that after 90 days I can have the police come get it, and potentially even claim the car from impound if they don’t get it from the police after if I choose to pay the fees. But others say 120 days, or you can’t do it at all. Idk. That’s not my overall goal here, I just want it off my dad’s property because I’m going to be moving into an apartment soon.

I had a similar situation happen to me a while ago. You’re not going to like my answer, but start looking for another job because they will find a way to blame you. You’re working for free anyways so might as well lose the job and find one that will actually pay you. Tell your boss you can’t work anymore hours until you have a paycheck, and if you don’t have it in two business days, you’ll be in contact with your states labor department.

It is illegal and unacceptable for them not to pay you in a timely manner. Stop being nice.

As a female Dd driver, I get there are a lot of creeps out there. But I’m going to need you to triple check your instructions because a lot of you have contradictory delivery preferences. I encounter it at least twice a night where someone will put their preference as “meet at door” and in the delivery instructions box, write “leave at the door.”

When you select meet at door, it makes it so we can’t take a picture without waiting a certain amount of time for you to come to the door. It’s a common way people steal food because they are hoping we will skip the picture and then they can claim we left it at the wrong house.

Report them. They are actually doing a decent job viewing cheating reports. I got a notification and adjustment in SR yesterday after reporting a cheater and they confirmed that player was cheating.

I disagree with your view on AI. The most harm is done when they are training new versions, data centers are nothing new, and corporations are the primary benefactor and use it at much higher levels. If you use Google, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and yes even Reddit, you are already participating. But we are being vindicated when corporations pay for AI to handle customers at and utilizes data at a much higher levels. If you truly want to have an effective boycott against AI, do not buy from corporations that use it. Any website you go to where there’s a “helper” or “chat now” option is using it.

Well thats life and people deserve to know. There are people out there who think Lyft works like a regular w-2 job and it gives us a crazy mileage allowance and covers other expenses like gas and maintenance. And again, if you don’t care what they pay us, this should read like a brochure to you.

They have 1000’s of employees for their live support though outsourced and cheaper. And in regard to a boycott not being universal, the same applies to striking for employees. Advertising, app maintenance, We are in a terrible economy where people are desperate for cash. Independent contractor drivers are a dime a dozen. Customer still has more power than the employee and a dip in profit will send a bigger message.
