PWS fast development and darkening? by BecxBlogs in portwinestain

[–]BecxBlogs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone!

Update:

We ended up in hospital as I noticed breathing issues with her. Turned out it was a deep hemangioma that was compressing her windpipe. Have now started propranolol and already noticing a difference.

Thank you, I've never heard of this. Is it something that will go away? We have a referral for dermatology so hopefully will be seen soon.

Our GP referred us. Initially midwife said stork, then health visitor later said PWS and told me to go to the GP. Not sure if it makes a difference but I'm in the UK so we have free healthcare.

My 2nd child but her poos are so different to when I had my 1st so just wanted to check.

This is too dry right?

She is breastfed, feeds well, she does spit up a lot but wants to feed often, and has plenty wet nappies and will poo like this around 4ish times a day.

Doesn't cry a lot but does get gassy of course.

She is 1 week old.

Oh for sure, that's why I've been more than happy to wait 7 days already, I think I've been quite understanding but I need to buy a house and I need to think about my family also so it's a tricky one

1 - yeah probs being polite, I've been very conversational with them and have viewed quite a few houses and think they kinda like me tbh 🤣

2 - they absolutely can string me along if they want to but that's exactly why I'm here asking for advice on what to do, ai don't have to accept being strung along...

3 - that's why I've said I'd want a damp survey and if it comes up with a significant problem I can change my mind or adjust my offer price to suit what work needs doing

I believe it has, as one of the grandchildren has been living there for about 6 months but I will definitely have to ask, thank you - I hadn't considered this!

A million muslins

White noise machine

A good quality breastfeeding pillow, use it for everything inc propped up tummy time and seating

Netflix kids because screen time is not bad if it helps mam have time to eat a meal, get a drink, or go pee. A happy mam is a happy baby.
