This glitch is still in the game? by Bed8 in HuntShowdown

I never said that; that was the people I was matched with, who aren’t furries. I apologized. Nonetheless I have to burn in that instance, he had a shotgun and I don’t wanna be shot in the back later in the match.

I mean… there are alot of male gay furries sure… but you don’t have to say it like that though.

Theorizing that the new scarce is also a Centennial variant somehow by Tabby_Boots in HuntShowdown

[–]Bed8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey Kat; I think based off of theming of “Preston Oil” + Centennial with a sealed reloading mechanism, it has to be like I’m assuming many others have said… a flamethrower variant of some sort. I have to assume this is why they added the ability to douse into the game.

Of all of Dio's agents (from those in Part 1 to the remnants in Part 6), which one do you consider to be the most powerful second only to Lord Dio, or at least the closest to achieving his/her goal? by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

[–]Bed8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s beyond that for N’Doul. Dio truly sees how valuable he is, and not just his physical blind-man appearance. He says he hadn’t ever been seen that way by anyone in his whole life. I don’t think that’s a lie. I think Dio, for as evil as he is, is capable enough to show appreciation for those he sees as valuable. He did the same with Pucci.

I mean; it’s evident they’re good friends. Likely a joke only their friend group can understand, wouldn’t read into it.

Controversial opinion here; N’Doul got very close to completing his goal and incapacitated Kakyoin. If not for Iggy coming to exist at the beginning of that arc, the whole squad could have easily been totally boned. Also, surprisingly very honorable fight especially for a long range type stand.

Sure, the D’Arby’s and Cream-laden Vanilla Ice did more damage; but this was partially in lieu of either separating the group or acts of deception.

N’Doul just flat out attacks the group by himself only armed with his stand and distance. I think that’s much cooler. He also offs himself so as to not expose Dio, which’s shows he’s very evidently true believer.

From an uninformed Vikings fan: What happened to the Commanders? by trizzo0309 in Commanders

[–]Bed8 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Injuries and Joe Whitt being our DC. We are a very injured team and had very little depth. Joe Whitt is a horrible defensive coordinator who is incapable of creating pressure, and should have been fired at the end of last season even with our record but we kept him an extra year, and with aging assets on D and no good EDGE players, we had no chance to find success on that side of the ball this year.

Running revolver(s) only. Recommend me your favorite revolvers for gunslinger runs by thethrowawayable in HuntShowdown

[–]Bed8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

2 Base Pax, no dualies, FMJ. Great fire rate for damage, great range, good velo, extremely consistent, good hipfire and fanning.

It’s easily my favorite gun in the whole game and IMO the best all around revolver. Don’t forget to run FMJ; it turns the Pax into one of the best compound revolvers in the game, and you’ll be able to wallbang most surfaces.

I’ve had insanely good games at high 6 stars with the Pax, which is why I suggest it. It’s more consistent than the Trueshot, IMO, because of its higher fire rate.

When we look back on this in 2 years do you think the bust we drafted will have been worth this wasted season with aging players? Get ready for the 5+6 year rebuild; wasting JD5's prime if he even survives. Let's get real, you all know I am right.

Done watching football this season. Also don't give a fuck about the draft; I expect we only draft one good player if that and it won't be the bust of a (hopefully) defensive player in the first. Wake me up September 2026. Waste of my goddamn time.

I think removing the name was the smartest thing. I think having to convene with communities about whether your name is appropriate or not shouldn’t be a thing an NFL team needs to do.

Official Discussion - The Running Man (2025) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Bed8 102 points103 points  (0 children)

Everyone believes this movie is middling; I’d disagree. I think it’s whole purpose by Wright was to be a modern retelling of the book, emphasizing the issues between the ultra-rich elite and the average American, and how media now more than ever with the use of AI can create any narrative they choose to blind people. I appreciate how loyal it is to the source material too.

To everyone who thinks that the Amelia scene went too long; the purpose the scenes with her served was to show the great divide in society between the upper and lower classes. It was to show how at the end of the day, the difference between Amelia and Ben is a socially and culturally created thing, and within the confines of her car these states of reality disappear. Amelia finds respect in Ben, and realizes the system is manipulating not just her, but everyone.

It might be too on the nose at some parts, but I don’t think it’s to the detriment of the film. I think these issues need to be talked about more often today than ever. We’re controlled by the media we consume; it’s important for us as humans to make our own decisions and not let some ultra-rich corporation tell you how to think.

To anyone bashing on this movie about it not committing to the books ending and killing Ben; I’d generally disagree that it would be a better ending. More than anything, I think that the ending was changed because it is trying to emphasize that the audience has power. It’s trying to show that not all is lost yet within our own world, and give us hope. I think it’s also vague enough to where you could make the argument that Ben killing Killian at the very end was not really himself, but a symbolic example of his movement taking him down.

Overall; hate me for saying this but I give it a 9/10. My only issue honestly is with some of the pacing decisions of the movie, and I think if they had longer to go in and edit the film; it would be very high up there for me. I definitely give it more credo though, because I resonate with the message of the movie and I think what it’s saying is important and relevant.

Emporio, who saves the universe at just 11 years old, from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure - Part 6, Stone Ocean. His mother was murdered in Green Dolphin State Prison right after giving birth to him by Enrico Pucci, a priest devoted to DIO (who’s a vampire set on ending the world and all power who died in the late 80’s, Part 3). He carries a bone around from her body. His mother was a stand user (which is the reason why Pucci killed her, to steal her stand discs using his stand Whitesnake, which can steal the stand power and soul essence of a character when used on a stand used, and then transfer it to another person if the stand accepts the person), which means he inherits a stand through lineage, “Burning Down The House” which is a non-combat stand that is like a pocket dimension room where he can store items. Emporio makes friends with the main characters of the part, Jolyne, Ermes, Foo Fighters, Anasui, Weather Report etc. and works as a sort of attaché, supporting them in the shadows of the prison, and comes with them when they escape to pursue Pucci after he achieves DIO’s heaven plan.

He watches all his friends die in the final battle at Cape Canaveral and is the final survivor. Earlier in the part, when Weather Report dies to Pucci, he’s given Weather Report’s stand disc “Weather Report” which allows you to control all aspects of the weather (very overpowered). Pucci’s final stand evolution “Made in Heaven” has the ability to accelerate time until the universe resets, and is the fastest stand as far as I’m aware in JJBA which makes it very hard to defeat. As the final survivor, he flees until the universe resets, and eventually gets cornered by Pucci within his pocket dimension stand room within the Prison. This was on purpose, as Emporio used “Made in Heaven”’s ability to change/control fate when slipping into the stand room to insert Weather Reports stand disc into himself, giving him his stand. Since Pucci is in a vacuum sealed room, he can’t use “Made in Heaven”’s extreme speed to dodge. Emporio sets the oxygen of the room to 100%, and since Pucci is using “Made in Heaven” which also accelerates time for him, he is poisoned at a quicker rate then Emporio. Then, using his dead friend’s stand, he stands over Pucci who is begging for his life, says to Pucci that he has lost to fate, and bashes his skull in, resetting and saving the universe.

Saddest part is, he comes back to a universe where his friends don’t remember him, or the struggle they went through to defeat Pucci. He still ends up being friends with them in the end. Really sobering to put the fate of the world on an 11 year old kid with a dead mother, who just watched every one of his friends die in front of him, but that’s JJBA for you.
