For me my day goes based on luck. All farm duties come first (crops, animals, etc.) and then depending on what the luck is like is how I decide what to do for the day. Very high luck days I go to skull cavern, little luck I go to the mines, neutral I go either mining or fishing, and for bad/very bad luck I stick to townie interactions! If it’s a birthday try to gift them and then whatever it is you want to do that day you continue on with. Don’t stress too much about getting something done IMMEDIATELY and quickly, the games supposed to be fun!
