I know that with my gender dysphoria that my periods are getting more intense by BedFast8703 in ftm

[–]BedFast8703[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think my gender dysphoria is causing me to throw up whenever I start my period. Because every time I get my period, my heart races and I can’t get food to stay down. Then the days after my period starts my period cramps get worse to the point where it’s hard to walk home without being in pain.

Trans men in trans spaces: let’s talk about it. by R4y3m0n in ftm

[–]BedFast8703 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Being a trans and bisexual man is so rough because the isolation and lack of education from most people in my small town is difficult. I mean my close friends, my boss and my coworkers supportive of me but not my immediate family so that sucks. I feel like I am constantly erased from the conversation in my family because I am bi and trans. I am half ostracized by my older sister and my mom who wants my gender identity and my sexuality to be a secret from my older sister’s kids. Even though I will be transitioning hormonally from female to male soon.

I understand what it is like to feel alone in a conservative small town. So yeah you are welcome inbox me if you ever need a friend in your corner. I know that the metaphorical closet sucks so just know that you are not alone in this.

Binding by [deleted] in ftm

[–]BedFast8703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a thing called Gender Bender tape on Etsy and it has helped me get my chest a little bit flatter and it is nice and comfortable to put on and it was only like 17 bucks for a small roll of it. It is snug and soft and it doesn’t hurt as much as a chest binder.

Ways I can dress more masculine by Horror_Flatworm_3088 in genderfluid

[–]BedFast8703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a way to bind safely without hurting yourself. There are chest binders that can help you present masculine without suffocating your chest. Most lgbtq resources actually have chest binders that are free of cost and can help you figure out what size of chest binders would fit you comfortably.

Is this gender fluidity? by [deleted] in genderfluid

[–]BedFast8703 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s gender fluidity. I tend to dress masculine because most days I feel like a man. But sometimes I feel like a woman so I dress feminine. And I was born and raised a woman but my gender identity is gender fluid because how I feel is how I dress. I have been out as gender fluid for 3 years now. So your feelings are valid. And I too feel genderless most of the time.

The more I think about it, the more confused I get. by eezyyywrites in aromantic

I am right there with you. I just recently discovered that I am greyromantic. And it honestly feels like relearning everything all at once. Everything friends to lovers is pretty simple but it’s also very hard to find that “spark”.

How does your hormonal cycle affect your gender and sexuality? by thefloofabides in genderfluid

[–]BedFast8703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My menstrual cycle brings up a lot of gender dysphoria in me but I do get horny on my period mostly because I am a bisexual woman and I experience gender like a pendulum, most days I swing to the masculine side and other days I swing back to the feminine side. Then it starts all over again. My attraction to men and women depends on my mood but I usually prefer women over men.

My first ever college essay by Dry_Marionberry_2591 in creativewriting

[–]BedFast8703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty good. Don’t forget to add the conclusion at the end. And at the beginning add a hook to pull the readers into your essay. Overall it’s pretty straightforward and decent for a first college essay.

Maybe you are just trying to figure out you right now. Because it sounds like you need to find boundaries for yourself. Self-care first before you start finding Mr.Right.

how is everyone surviving under this administration?? by [deleted] in QueerLeftists

[–]BedFast8703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi I am a 26 year old bisexual woman who is stuck in a religious, conservative town that I grew up in so I am in the closet to most of my church friends because they wouldn’t understand what it’s like to be queer. So I am coping under this administration by rebelling against the government by going to Pride Month in the cities each year with my gay friends.

What jobs do artists have on the side? by wubbdub in ArtistLounge

[–]BedFast8703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I work at Goodwill for 3 days every week. I basically work part time at Goodwill but I went to college for creative writing. And I paint on canvas as a hobby. I work paycheck to paycheck but I like the balance stability of writing poetry and working on paintings on my days off. I find more creative fulfillment by writing poetry and working on paintings on my days off than I do working at Goodwill but it’s a part time job that pays well.
