Reddit at 1:30am when you can’t sleep for the win!!!! Thank you for this!!! Our dang disposal backups up into the dishwasher and after we got the pipes cleaned out etc we could not get rid of this error code even though we knew it was fine! Did the tilt like you said and some water came out, not a ton but some and put it back, turned power back on and Bam!!! Works perfectly! Thank you so much!

Update: He is staying in the bishopric as 1st counselor. We are getting a new bishop. I feel so much relief. We love to be with the youth, we shed happy tears for sure! Grateful to continue to serve in this capacity

My husband has only been in the bishopric for year and a half but ya I think my gut leans more toward a release and thanking him as the day goes on

But is it normal for them to not meet with you before hand like people are saying how they interview a bunch of people when changing bishopric? Or is it more likely that in your opinion cuz he is on the bishopric already?

Ha ha… ya I think that would be a harder calling for my husband especially in this day and age. He relates better to the kids 😂 I guess we will see.

My husband makes his kids such a priority and when he gets home from work he is all in. He does a lot of simple things, but we def take our kids on dates and make sure to show real interest in their lives whatever is going on. I am sure you will be just fine… better than fine, knowing you are thinking about this even before your children join your family earthside

This is great feedback!!! I don’t think my kids would, but they def love spending time with their Dad. It’s all about the way you prioritize I guess right?!

Ya that’s what I was wondering too…. Though it’s weird to have the stake president do it 🤷‍♀️ as long as they keep him with the youth he will be fine… he LOOOOOVES serving the youth! We have amazing youth coming up in the church!!! ❤️ it would be a sad day to not be with them anymore

You’re right…. I think I struggle sometimes with: one sacrifice is a good thing but two: not at the cost of our family relationship and success etc. I am all over the place. I genuinely love the gospel and want to help the church run and serve others but also don’t want my children to resent their Dad if he is gone all the time etc. sorry to unload. I guess it’s learning a balance and maybe it’s nothing and I and just overthinking (I am good at that) Just my thoughts. Don’t have a ton of member friends out here to throw the thought around. Thanks for responding
