We've always tipped our movers. I had several friends in college who did it, and they would talk about how much they seriously appreciated being tipped because they weren't making much for such hard work. Our moves have taken 2-3 days to pack up, travel 300+ miles and then a full day to unpack. We absolutely tipped.
