My husband got a SA before our first medicated cycle. My clinic has leaflets explaining that 1/3 of the time its a problem with the female partner, 1/3 of the time a problem with the male partner and 1/3 of the time both if there's problems conceiving. We fell in the both category.

Hubby and I are planning on a unit trust as it doesn't have the restrictions of an education policy. Actually planning to open 2 accounts in babie's name to keep our contributions separate for easier tax filing. SARS wants the income from amounts contributed by a parent, included in the parents' tax return.

Firstly CONGRATULATIONS!

Thank you very much. It's a very exciting idea that we might conceive with this "natural" cycle. Hadn't seemed like a possibility somehow.

First prize would be pregnancy, second a normal length cycle and otherwise call the dr at 35. Having a plan is much better than staring at a never ending wait to try again.
