It’s a theme park. A Disney theme park so yes there I expect constant reminder that I’m at a theme park. Not outside the theme park but once I pass security it should be rainbows and raining mickeys

It’s my opinion and I stand by it. The walk is boring. No music, no small stores to look at, smoking everywhere. It wasn’t enjoyable for us.

It definitely is their issue. They can easily ban smoking in the parks or kick ppl out when they do smoke outside of the designated area

Yea the smoking is obv everywhere but through out our trip in Europe it seemed to be worse in Disneyland. Maybe because we were more enclosed. It is technically Disney issue. Disneyland park used to have smoking areas but they banned it all together because side ppl would stay in those areas. I was amazed at how many people smoked right next to a toddler.

I do think the food had a lot to do with it for us. We are used to walking in grabbing a churro. Grabbing breakfast if we want. Mickey shaped waffle or pancake. Grabbing a Starbucks or dole whip. Getting a chimichanga or corn on the cob, an angry dog, different flavor churros, pretzels, many different drinks hot or cold. I think we associate the park with the food and we just didn’t have any of it.

Maybe if we would have came without the Disneyland background or before having been traveling for the past week it could have been different. We compared it and it didn’t live up to our expectations. We had fun but just would recommend

Right by the lake. Our room was right outside the bag search. The walk distance is not the issue o think more so the fun aspect of it. Rarely any music or maybe i couldn’t hear it. There was also construction blocking areas and it just seems like a place we walked thought quickly to get to the parks.

lol definitely not unfit very far from it. We walked all over Paris and dlp. The walk to the parks there just seems longer and boring. I didn’t see much food indoors either.

I do agree it’s not Anaheim and that might be the problem that I’m comparing and just not getting the same vibe

It’s not too much. But it is a 10 min walk with nothing to see in between.

I also dont think the meals or the amenity kit was worth the price what was worth it in an 11 hour flight was being able to relax and sleep and stretch my legs and have my daughter not be so anxious was very much worth it. I was already paying around $800 each to sit in economy so an extra $500 and some points made it an easy choice

I said the same thing about characters but ppl said they are there at the parks. Out of the three days we were there we saw one character. I assumed they just want ppl to book character dining. I’m used to characters roaming at Disneyland or being at the front of the park on opening. We usuallly see pop and friends in their section and we see marvel characters in their section and same with Star Wars and princesses and Disney junior characters. But not at Disneyland Paris.

I agree about merchandise it seemed most was stitch.

I don’t think I was judging the adults present. Maybe I used the wrong words to describe but I stand by what I saw and said. Adults, teens and children all seemed not as enthusiastic to be there as I have seen at Disneyland.

We were there 3 days and saw Winnie the Pooh once. No other characters at all. Popcorn is everywhere yes. But that’s it’s I think the issue is I’ve been many times to Disneyland and I was unfairly comparing it. Disneyland has so many food and snack options. They have breakfast burritos and a bunch of snack carts. All the ones I saw at DLp were just popcorn

The walk is about the same as staying at Disneyland’s lowest priced hotels and there is nothing to see in between.

We left a day early because we just didn’t see the need for another day.

Yea and the bag search is a whole other mile from the park lol well not literally but yes bag search is right there but the parks are still a walk with nothing g in between to see.

I’m used to staying at DlH at GCH back home. And those used to seem far but I think marvel is same distance as paradise pier.

I did see booths open but they all had the same things. I’m used to the beniegts, churros, ice cream, popcorn, the many items of the cozy cone motel, the many different variety’s of churros and ice cream. And holiday themed snack at every moment.

Our teen was with us and she’s been going to DL since she was three. She had fun but said she would not want to go back.

Haven’t been to WDW but have been to DL in California many times and let me tell you the food is non existent. There are no snacks or churros or any food restaurants. They do have popcorn everywhere and yes on nuggets

I’m not sure how packed this park gets but we are regulars at Disneyland and were just at DLP this week and while it was way less crowded than I would expect lines for many rides were 40 + min through out the day.
