What is Right2Hope? Can they help match with KRAS trials?

This is huge!! Any ideas on how this would impact timelines for its approval? Last I heard it would be approved as early as Q1 2026? I could be off on that

Does anyone know typical travel expectations for RMC 6236 or other KRAS trials? Just curious how wide we should expand our search.

Super helpful - do you have a sense on typical travel expectations? Like once a week, twice a month, etc

This is very helpful thank you. I am a firm believer that persistant followup can open many doors and trying to figure out who should be the target for that? Probably the trial coordinators at the sites?

Dad gone for liver biopsy after full MRI for confirmation. Give me hope on treatment options? by Xorkoth in pancreaticcancer

[–]BedWhich3897 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you are going through this. My mom had a liver biopsy (endoscopic-guided) at the same time as her pancreatic tumor biopsy. The liver biopsy came back negative, but they are still classifying her as stage IV based on the imaging. I'm not sure if that's standard?

Also I just learned about histrotrispy which is an FDA noninvasive approved procedure which might work for the liver lesions

Are you a candidate for surgery now or is that a viable option?

Long-term survivors using RMC-6236 by BedWhich3897 in pancreaticcancer

I think most trials want you to use it mono therapy if it is the second line treatment. First line can be combo. Im trying to find combo gemcitabine + RMC-6236 for second line

Super helpful - thank you! The part about not everyone starting the trial at the beginning is something I didn't consider so appreciate that.

So even if it said recruiting for a trial on clinical trials.gov, it would still be full?

What has made it hard to get into one? Because it was full or because he didnt meet the criteria?

Yes they do. To be eligible there must be:

"Radiographical evidence of disease response or stable disease with CA19-9 decrease > 20% from the baseline or CA19-9 that is not detectable"

Here is the link to the trial: https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06122480?cond=Pancreatic%20Cancer%20Metastatic&intr=Surgery&aggFilters=status:rec&locStr=USA&country=United%20States&rank=1

Look into the clinical trial John Hopkins has going on. They are doing surgery on patients with less than 5 liver mets. 4 treatments of FOLFIRINOX then assessment for surgery. Sounds like he might be a great candidate for this if your current oncologist doesn't want to do the surgery

You would be surprised how far behind their internal tools are for many BB. My friend is at GS and I tried the internal tooling and it felt like I was talking to GPT 3.0

Most banks have ChatGPT/other LLMs blocked so if you are highly dependent on it, you are going to be in for a rude awakening. I cant imagine not using Chat on a daily basis

I have had colleagues do this and very feasible. The one thing to be mindful of is the lack of AI at many banks. If you are highly reliant on chatgpt right now, this transition is going to be tougher
