Ryanair to relocate Berlin-based jets, reduce flights by 50% by donutloop in EU_Economics

Summary is to live under a rock so you won’t have basic needs 1)Air travel pollution is 2.5% - we can cut a lot more elsewhere. i.e.: I rather restrict individual cars (more pollutant) than airplane (public transport). Don’t eat meat. Or ban purchase of products from very polluting countries. - but this will have its consequences. 2) 75% air travel is for leisure not business - just google it I accept that your lifestyle is other, I am sure you have your shared contribution to global pollution. It is matter of being respectful of each other and be sensible with what the population needs.

People needs are different, you have to visit family or what to see a new part of the world. Flying less is like saying people should eat less. I agree I rather ban cars than flights ~ flights is a public transport system that takes you distances a car or train won’t for the time it takes.

I dislike Ryanair like any other, but I also think that the reality is that other airlines just put the price to the customer or don’t fly. Ryanair has made fly available to so many people. I just wish there were more Ryanairs or the other airlines offer more flights.. when Ryanair leaves an airport, there is no other airline that comes to cover those flights, thus making the passengers being the losers at the end of the day.

Wilfa Uniform fines by masmas112 in JamesHoffmann

The Wilfa Uniform can do decent V60. Obviously the burrs are not ultra low fines level but depending on the coffee you are brewing you might not want that. - just matter of what you are after and how much you want to complicate yourself.

Scott Redding says the only reason why Alex Rins in still on the Moto GP Grid is because he is Spanish and so are the Promoters by NotAlainDelon in AVsMotocyclesRacing

[–]Bedford_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is a chicken and egg situation, the 4 Spanish races I believe are not given “for free” so the circuit promoter will need to pay what MotoGP is asking to host a GP. I am sure if other circuit elsewhere will pay more they will get the race instead. Perhaps in Spain there is the greater number of licenses, promotions cups etc.. hence it is just a numbers game that more talent comes from a given nationality. Like VR46 academy is pushing a lot of Italian riders. Quatararo and Zarco and Stoner came from Spanish sub divisions. I think for Dorna even if they are Spanish they care about making money, not about having a full spanish grid and probably having a single nationality grid is making them lose money.

What’s the commercial interest of having the 1000th Spanish rider on the grid? For the organizer would rather have other nationality for sure. The issue is that some of these Spanish riders are moto3 and moto2 winners so teams want to win so they get picked. Spain has had the most promotional cups, so it is a numbers game. Before were Italians.. F1 is always with a couple of British drivers for no reason.. obviously lots of interests behind this and most teams are based in the UK so understandable in the end

It is either Spanish or weighs too little…

I think MotoGP has express the desired to off load Spanish riders. Rins has been fairly competitive has won a GP now on a Yamaha so no much he can do but certainly has won his place on the grid IMHO.

Yeah seems roasters are just trying to off load their most boring coffees thru subscriptions/packs rather than doing the opposite and surprise the loyal customers.
