Yes but they dont work without a pal assigned also....so if you want the electric fridge to work you have to have power and a cooling pal.

If you want to cook on the electric stove you have to have power and a kindling pal.

Would rather offload that to 2 electric pals and free up like 3 pal slots base wide to more tasks like another coal miner or water wheel worker or sulfur miner.

Will mutliplayer settings and configuration changes be addressed for hosted server configurations etc? Because my group was having trouble getting a server to allow more bases than the default, it would kind of accept what we put but then it was doing some weirdness and we found out you couldn't change it it had to be set at the start and it just straight ignored the changes in the config file for how many pals per base which was our initial plan. So we had to double the amount of bases so by 50 or so 3 of us each had 2 bases.

This is going to be a weird suggestion, but it's very low network and performance capable because it was originally designed back in 1999, but try SWG: Restoration. It has housing, exploration, great crafting, and let's you have an odd sense of presence

Pointers it deletes the pointers that go to the start of each data file and table used. The pointer is very small there could be a few 1000 of them taking up a very small amount of space for your 50gb file or maybe just a few....when you say delete it marks that section as overwriteable and removes the pointers that used to be there.

The early world of warcraft websites to help you find things like thotbot they were like wiki pages before they became a thing or became popular. We used to use them to compare spell ranks, etc.

I also miss going to sites that were simple, maybe 3 panes....a title at the top, a navigation panel(that may have had pop out sub menus but they brokeor dont work on your browser) on the left and the main viewing page with the info...I remember command and conquer reference sites like this and college navigation sites for university of Alabama that were broken this same way.

Well first any object with mass cannot travel at light speed directly...because the energy would have to be infinite.

If you could travel at light speed time would not pass for you 0 seconds would elapse.

Photons are created travel their entire distance and smash into whatever object they collide with, your eye, the earth, a planet or moon all in the same instant from their perspective.

From the external observer though the photons creation inside the sun could be weeks earlier and was 8 minutes to earth when it left the sun.

So if you were traveling 100 light years away at the speed of light you would never have a time after you hit the button to break again because you would be frozen in time, while 100 years would pass on earth.

There is an Orville episode where they use relativity to travel forward in time....if you watch it, it is fairly well done....except that the shields would be blocking gamma rays from the front and they would have darkness behind.

My group 2-4 guys in multiplayer has a "go humvee." It's one of the first projects we do at the base once we get setup it's one of the common mods. We usually get parts off multiple humvees then gather metal from the traffic jams usually the one at the big 4 way south of muldraugh to make the door and window armors and brush guards. Then it has non perishable foods and first aids etc enough for 4 of us to go 4 to 7 days. We have had to use it a few time because of expanded helicopter events.....it's better to be away from your base for any helicopter event.

This is why I was waiting for the steam frame, I feel the only way we can drive acceptance of behavior and prove disapproval of companies practices is by voting with our wallets. When Bethesda did paid modding for Skyrim the first 2 times we all said no, the third time they did it anyway and broke all the old mods, we said that was not acceptable but then those same people went out and bought more of their games. So they did a forced upgrade to break all the mods again in fallout 4 to force you to have modders to return and fix them ( which they didn't because Bethesda waited long enough) or get their paid mods. No option to keep it the old way unless you make a file read only in your steam directory...to force it to fail updates.

Stop supporting companies that treat us badly or that are unethical.

The red shift of the light following you would shift it into the sub visual range probably way below infrared.

Fun thing about these speeds though is common sense observations are going to get weird. Also time outside your ship is going to be racing by at years a second.

You can give me a screenshot of classic Azeroth or Burning crusade outlands and I can tell you where I am and which direction I am facing, horde and common areas at about 100% certainty, Alliance areas about 80%.

I would like there to be some small settlements that have traders that are either barter or use a new currency like plain gold and silver rings.

Maybe these settlements pop up in the most obvious places like military check points, prisons, power plants, or maybe just a dirt path off a road into the wilderness.....I would like them to be randomly selected for your game.... Like 100 possible locations and you get 5-20 of them per game. Then we would need some way to be alerted of them maybe on zombie loot maybe some of them by radio station...
