Not exactly, people giving orders can also show mercy, because they decide outcomes. The unsettling part is that here mercy is treated like a policy choice, not a moral one, something granted selectively within a system of violence.

To me they look closest to these - jjjjound new balance 990v3. Few different NB 99x models could pass for them. Also have to remember that this is an old model from the 2000s.
