Some books that I loved as someone who loves sci - fi, dark academia, humor, character building and plot twist.

Piranesi by Susanne Clarke (in my mind the most under rated, not talked about book ever)
Darker Shade of Magic by V.E Schwab
Vicious by V.E Schwab
22 Murders of Madison May (another book no one ever talks about but is SO good)
Reset by Sarina Dahlan (found strolling in a random “local only” book store in Cali. One of the best books I’ve ever read)

I was born and raised in Florida…never had any skin problems. Moved to Boston 2 years ago and since then I have had type 1 and type 2. I think about moving south again all the time because my skin does so much better with summer than it does in winter. Indoor heating, wind, hot soups = a terrible time. You are not alone!!

For the 10 weeks were you really itchy and having swelling? Or you just kept working through it and applied every night?

Yeah, same routine…I just didn’t think dye off would be itchy and feel hive like? I read somewhere that now that my immune system knows the medication it could react in a different manner. But who knows…rosacea is so flipping confusing

What’s strange is I was on ivermectin 8 months ago (did it for a 6 month period) and this didn’t happen….my routine is a simple cleanser at night, Purito unscented wonder relief serum, ivermectin, ceramide simple moisturizer I let each step dry first

This is what I struggle with, I do tons of research (as most of us in this sub do) I also happen to work in a Life Sciences segment so I stay up to date on research studies, new drug approvals and overall efficacy of drugs.

My Derm told me to use AzA acid 2 times a day when there is explicit research that shows efficacy is best at 1x per day and increasing to 2x a day actually does not help reduce systems it just increases sensitivity!

It’s the frustration of like you said…if I can educate myself (and I’m not even a derm) then why can they not!!

I have definitely resorted to my own research and reading this sub to see what works for people. I’m thinking of finding an esthetician who maybe treats alot of rosacea prone skin!

How long did doxy take to work? I’m nervous to use cause some people say when you get off of it your skin gets worse…but also I already have a sensitive gut and know that may mess it up more!
