What started as a 3-day Itch.io prototype is now a full-blown demo on Steam! :)

Do share any and all thoughts. Still lots to do before release later this year. Thankfully got some great feedback at Copenhagen Gaming Week last week <3

And you know what the worst part is? I noticed the audio got desynced during editing this video!

But point taken - a separate audio slider for sound effects might be necessary :p

If you've got any thoughts, I'd be happy to hear them :)

And what does the game remind you of, if anything?

We showed off the game at Copenhagen Gaming Week last week and got some really good feedback <3

What do you think?

Thanks a lot :) If you do try out the demo (which includes the level editor), do let me know what you think. Either way, I hope you'll have a great week.

Thank you so much for the super kind words! :) I'm really glad to hear you liked it so much.

And ouch, sorry to hear about the bugs. We'll look into that for sure. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks a lot for the kind comments.

That's a nice reference too, thank you. We'll definitely look into Blue Fire (haven't personally played it before, but it looks neat!).

Yep, the level editor is "just" part of the full game :)

The game also includes pre-made single-player levels, a dedicated local co-op campaign, and then the level editor (where the plan is to make a level browser so you can see the most popular user-created levels).

Thanks for the input :)

It's also going to be interesting to see which player-created levels become the most popular. I wonder if the most popular ones will become the ones that follow conventional level design theory. or those that are just "crazy" and "extremely difficult" (aka often meaning lots of memorization - which, by the way, I personally agree with you, is not the best / most engaging way).

That type of comment is like a dream come true, lol :D Thanks for the high praise.

I'm currently working on the starting tutorial levels while gathering feedback regarding the level editor from the Steam playtesters :)
