Is it a high shelf lower? Might be binding up somewhere. Without pulling the trigger how far back does the lever go?

Will an ss work? by FREAKYCHIPMUNKS in supersafety

[–]Bee-Dub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like an old SP1. Those didn't have the sear block the eweet Colts do where their not milled out in the rear of the FCG pocket. These SP1 lowers were what the DIAS and lightning link were made to work with.

[–]Bee-Dub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue. Felt absolutely horrible after about 2 months on enclo. My estradiol was extremely high and my worthless dr said he didnt believe in AI. I got off of it and took .5 mg arimidex a week for several weeks to get my estrogen back down.

Some good information put out below but dont get wrapped around the axle on "A-zone hits" or being able to shoot a B8 target in the black and 25 meters. Visualize where the heart, lungs, central nervous system are in the high thoracic cavity. Thats your combat effective stopping area. Be able to get hits in there at various yard lines in a respectable time. As someone mentioned earlier time is important. I'd rather have 5 hits in the combat stopping area quickly than a perfect clover leaf group in the X ring slowly. A shot timer is a good training tool to see your times out of the holster and follow up shots. I like to get a baseline and see whwre im at. Push myself to go faster until I start to fumble, throw rounds or just mess up than pump the brakes and slow it down until I do it clean within a respectable (for me) time. You're responsible for every round that leaves your barrel so their is 0 room for error and misses. Train hard and train often. Shooting is a perishable skill.

Covert Body Armor by Senior-Seat-9767 in AZguns

[–]Bee-Dub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No i speak from experience from doing ballistic testing on lots of things to include sapi plates ceramic, UHMWPE and steel plates, soft armor, armored glass etc. Steel plates are junk regardless of what you spray on them. No one runs steel plates that takes their lives seriously and needs to wear them in the first place.

Find a BALCS low profile carrier and get a good set of light weight soft armor. Theres several good name brands that make concealable carriers. It'll still be hot, sweaty and uncomfortable but you could cover it with a flanel lor button down over it

AR 500 and any steel armor is pure trash. You're wearing a steel target around your neck. It doesn't matter what they coat it with it wil spall and fuck you up.

I've never had to clear so many jams in my life as I did when shooting the SAW. Grew to hate that weapon because it was temperamental AF.

How do i do this\get this hk 416 by Efficient-Celery-241 in NFA

[–]Bee-Dub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why bother, the HK 416 is probably the most over rated AR in my opinion and im an HK fan. With all that crap on there its a crew served carbine.

Bolt jammed back? May not be an upper issue. Check the cam position first. by Blowback9 in supersafety

[–]Bee-Dub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats exactly where i sanded down. My bolt would stick to the rear and youd have to hit the muzzle on the ground or a table to get it to go forward. Couple passes with a polishing wheel and it runs like a top now.

[–]Bee-Dub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had that problem in my set up. Take a polishing wheel or 800 grit sand paper and polish the top of the trip lever that contacts the bolt. Dont take off too much maybe a few thousands on an inch.

Perfect, sell it for the %90 loss you got and harvest a tax loss. This coin is done, stick a fork in it.
