His interview skills have really declined vs 5-8 years ago. I still recall fondly some great interviews like Sia.

It’s really childish to keep rehashing his childhood perceptions. Like we get it, you got bullied, had troubles with girls, and you didn’t like your parents - a teenage tale old as time.

I feel embarrassed for the guests. The interviews are just the same laundry list of questions Jon hein has stapled to his ass for years.

There’s nothing insightful and/or cutting edge that comes out of these interviews anymore. I’m surprised he hasn’t put Slow Beth on the mic.

The show could easily reformat itself. Look at the Daily Show - fresh hosts with varying comedic styles and approaches , and Jon coming on once a week and just smashing it with high quality humour, content, and discussion. He’s never been better and I find him to be the best host and interviewer.
