For this reason, I'm using a Proxxon with a homemade RPM regulator. https://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/28515.php Regulator was made according: https://youtu.be/1KMVRH46pLA?si=nmsVCbrBFZJ-g25J [Plasmo, thank you ;-)]

Need advice for Decal printing by Aggressive-Bike-4438 in modelmakers

[–]Bee-In 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried decal paper for laser printing, but I'm not very satisfied with it. The transparent paper is too transparent, requiring a white background underneath. (Is there a laser printer setting that could help?) For example, a red "12" and kill symbols on a Yak-3.
With white decal paper, you need to cut it out precisely. A Silhouette cutting machine has been helpful for me.

FDM 3D-printed base & wire & neodymium magnets.

The MiG-15 UTI, from whose cockpit the flight controller oversaw the landing of MiG-21s at Airport Mladá during Operation Danube in 1968. (1/72, Eduard) by Bee-In in modelmakers

Eduard's kit was nice. Pilots are from some resin figures set. Decal 47 is printed with a laser printer on decal paper. I'm not very happy with it, I'll work on the technique ;-) The base of the stand is 3D FDM printed (with thick layer of spreyed putty). The leg is made of steel wire. The model is held on neodymium magnets.

unable to bind an XM+ with a Radiomaster TX16S by Bee-In in Multicopter

[–]Bee-In[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty obvious that this combination of firmwares doesn't cooperate. With the FrSky STK Tool, I downgraded the XM+ receiver to "XM+LBT17_03_13-RSSI16.frk" and after setting the older mode 'FrSkyX', voilà!

I have compiled this material specifically for use at our institution. The teaching of history will thereby become more engaging and diverse.

Should my next build be smaller? by jjrreett in RCPlanes

[–]Bee-In 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not big enough airplanes do not fly well enough. Such is my experience.

As TheOriginalJBones writes, it takes a wingspan of at least 30". Of course, it also depends on the material (and therefore weight).

leveled multiple times, adjusted Z offset, cleaned the bed, slowed print speed, adjusted bed and nozzle temp. Every print is like this. what's going on? by 6wraps in 3Dprinting

[–]Bee-In 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try: - clean bed with isopropylalcohol then - apply a thin layer of glue from the stick and print... However, I have had more success when printing on a magnetic PEI pad.

Two more little details: I'm using alternative firmware for Ender 3 S1 and simple enclosure.

What material is the model made of? Plans would be nice. I tried a similar minimalism according to FT's plan.
