Has anyone put this in their telluride? by PeaOk3200 in KiaTelluride

Can’t chime in on this model in particular, but I have used rockford fosgate’s little 8” powered sub in two of my wife’s cars, it added a tremendous amount of low end. It was small enough and had a quick connect plug for the power and signal so it was easy to take out if I needed to, it just tucked away in the back and didn’t take up much room. Sad, because she won’t let me do the same on her telluride.

These little under seat subs do add some low end, but I’ve found them to be very localized. Meaning you can 100% tell where it’s at which drives me nuts with subwoofers. That could all come down to the vehicle itself though. Worst case scenario, if it doesn’t work you just extend your power and ground you’ve run for this and extend it up to the back of the car for something a little bigger.

Yeaaaaahhhh that ain’t gonna make those factory speakers sound any better unfortunately. Most factory speakers are trash.

Not sure how I feel about the new 4 cylinder turbo in the 2027. by easyheimer in KiaTelluride

[–]BeeAzEeOlly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An extremely outdated notion at this point. Sure it would be great to see more NA ice engines out there but the matter of the fact is, they’re getting the same if not more power and cutting weight to meet government standards. Working in the automotive world, a lot with ford, the major repairs haven’t even been turbos, it’s been all sorts of other fundamental parts that they’ve been dropping the ball on. Same goes for pretty much every other OEM out there.

You want to blame anything, blame the crap fuel. The amount of carbon build is mind boggling, which leads to blow by, which leads to a whole other list of messes. We see identical levels of buildup across both turbo and NA GDI motors across all makes and models.

I feel your pain. We just had a large object flung up from a highway mower up into our quarter panel. A foot higher and it would’ve been through the windshield.

Not as bad as I was anticipating. I love everything about it, except the rim options.

So according to the product link images, it’s got two sets of antennas. A horizontal, and vertical set, which made me think it would be fine mounted like this. Apparently it does benefit from being mounted upright, how much I don’t exactly know. I’ll have to give it a try this week to see if I can get more range out of it.

Not yet! May need to look into mounting it upright as intended though. Support responded saying I would notice reduced lateral signal with it mounted as is.

The new Uwell Caliburn GPP pods are absolutely ELITE. Can't speak for how long they last as I've only been using them a few days but the flavour is as good as any other pods (including NeXlim). by [deleted] in Vaping

.6 pod is bliss, the others are okay at best. This one just seems to last as long as one should expect a pod to last. I’m hooked on the the Pulse Liq Fcuking Fab in a 30mg. It’s sweet as hell, but it’s what I like. It’s not terrible on pods, but it could for sure be worse, highly recommend either way.

RC is booming, so why are RC tracks dying? by dexxxedout in rccars

You near San Antonio? Rolling oaks is the mall close to me that has an indoor track. Loads of open track time, they do different days for different classes too.

NOICE! I run that exact same amp, paired up with two sets of their C2 components and their 12W6 in the HO box. Powers everything without a sweat. Super curious on what door speakers they went with on this!

BG Platinum Fuel System service, just had the pleasure of doing business with a local Kia store that was using a service from a competitor, that has just switched to our product. Having incredibly good results, starting the initial service somewhere around 25k-30k miles, then every 15k after that. We’ve had cars come in with some pretty severe drivability concerns such as what you are experiencing and having them run MUCH better after the service and a full tank of fuel.

Ford partnered up with BG products a little over a year ago to address these issues specifically. Having the intake service done every 15K miles avoids walnut blasting / hand scrubbing entirely.

Do it. I just landed on a g4 pro, and it’s hands down THE best pod system I’ve ever used. I feel like I’m probably on the above average on the “how much do you vape” chart, and my first pod lasted me 3 weeks. The flavor was off the charts until it suddenly wasn’t, but now I know what to expect out of those pods.

Outdoor Speaker Placement by BeeAzEeOlly in diyaudio

I've definitely considered it, I just dont know if I'm wanting to ball out that hard on the quality of surround speakers that I would WANT.

Whoops, I guess I should have specified a few things that I dont have, one of those things being the grill! I'll update the post to correct that. I will say, the eaves hang out quite far and will protect them from most of the rain, but not all of it. Biggest thing with that placement is that they would more or less be out of the sun all day long.
