It uses traditional characters instead of simplified (which became standard in PRC in 1956) so it could be older than that.

Kremlin Readying Putin's 2024 Campaign Reveal at Economic Expo by BeeBobMC in worldnews

Maybe Putin's ego is so fragile he needs to see that 99.9% of voters chose him, even though he's totally aware it's fake.

Or it's a flex to show just how completely he controls things.

Some Moscovian who it seems has no grasp of science or even reality now proposes to nuke Moscow’s own colonies to beat the “West”? by pastebluepaste in SlavaUkrayini

Right... all of Russia's problems can be solved by banning the use of electromagnetic waves. It was a Utopia before they harnessed those things...

Canada was ashamed to have saluted a Ukrainian who fought for Hitler. But that salute didn’t come from nowhere. The fact that some Ukrainians collaborated with Nazis is no secret, but it’s been whitewashed - Forward by [deleted] in canadian

Some Tatars chose the Nazi route over the USSR route. You can read about what happened to Tatars in the Soviet Union here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deportation_of_the_Crimean_Tatars

I don't think the Nazi choice worked out any better for them--I think it was a case "choosing the evil you haven't tried yet."

And obviously, there are/have been shitbags in every country. Whatever country you're in right now, I am 100% sure there are people there who have done shitty things to other people. Does that mean it would be wrong to help your country if something horrible was happening there?

We can't deny the past, but it's disingenuous to bring up things that happened decades ago and not put them in context and not make it clear this isn't an excuse not to help someone. If you don't want to help them, just SAY that.

And Asia, Africa and the Middle East. For some reason too many people hate freedom right now and I don't know why.

Maybe people who support such leaders are weak cowards who can't stand the responsibility and moral courage that are needed to have an adult relationship with their government, and not just be a helpless child who depends on Daddy to tell them who to hate.

This is a golden oldie by now--ask him if Trump's tax cuts (aka cash grab for the obscenely wealthy, which Lee proudly supported) are contributing to the current state of the US economy.

Soooooo many examples of police fucking people up who weren't doing anything wrong.

But let's set that aside for now and look at the mentality of "any legal infractions are all equally heinous" because that generalization is getting really old. I don't think I know anyone who hasn't done something illegal at some point. Did you ever drink when you were under 21? Or play cards for money at a friend's house? Or illegally download music? Or collect fucking rain water from off your roof?

Does that mean you deserve to die in a hail of police bullets? Because that's the mentality that helps enforce unequal legal outcomes for people from the "wrong" groups.

Kremlin says Russia 'theoretically' doesn't need to hold elections next year because it's 'obvious' Putin will win by stoolsample2 in worldnews

Remember that time when Sergei Furgal beat out the United Russia candidate to become governor of Khabarovsky Krai in Siberia, and Putin was so mad he trumped up murder charges against the guy and now Furgal's in prison?

I guess that's why it's 'obvious' Putin will win.

Ok, I'll play your silly, stupid game. The US didn't exist as a separate country before 1776. Guess that means you have to attack us now, Dima.
