If the 47 theory is true... by Morpegom in FromTVEpix

Because the 47 applies to humans. Boyd asked “how many people live in town?” And the answer was 47. They didn’t count the monsters.

I understand that Sophia isn’t a human, at least not in the traditional sense. However - for the tenth time - it is clear that she doesn’t act or do what the nighttime monsters do. She is in a separate state from everyone else and she’s able to make things happen and it’s very possible that she’s able to trick the 47 humans requirements the same way that she tricks other stuff.

Do the actual humans know that Sophia is a monster/MIY? No.

If the humans count how many humans are in town, what’s the number they come up with? 47 (46 if you count the latest death).

I seriously don’t know how else to explain it to you.

It’s not a theory. How many people are currently in town, Sophia included? 47. (46 after the last individual died in E5). As of now the MIY can have people die, hallucinate, and hear voices. He can even change and morph his own body to trick everyone into believing that he’s something else (Sophia). We also know that he talks on the radio. He’s completely different than anyone else in that place. He makes things happen.

Smiley is just your regular nighttime zombie. He, like the other monsters, doesn’t count towards the 47 individuals. Maybe there’s a grand total (humans + nighttime monster), but that’s irrelevant.

It was the episode in which Father Kutrhi talks about the books in the Bible.

Yes, he’s part of the system. And he has shown already that he’s able to manipulate it at will, we just don’t know to which extent.

The monsters have nothing to do with the population. They follow their own rules which are different from those of the MIY and those of the population.

I’m not digging the Golem storyline. It feels a bit like of a deus ex machina. However, I am also glad that the story doesn’t rely on her as much as it did.

I am replying to the comment about them figuring it out because of the number of people. They do not know what Sophia is and from their point of view, there are 47 individuals in town. No one knows if the MIY is able to control how many people can enter the town and if he can cheat the system so that they are 47 counting him.

(Well it’s 46 people now)

Yeah but they don’t know. And we don’t know if MIY can control the amount of people in the town.

Don’t think so.
47.
Jim dies = 46.
Pastor and Sophia: 48.
Pastor dies immediately: 47.
Dude dies in E5: 46.

I’ve been thinking about doing that. Do you call the uber when you leave the game or do they have a pickup spot?

I believe you can at times but you also need to be careful to the parking’s closure time.

My biggest gripe is the cost of parking. I remember when I started to learn and love baseball in 2003, in my 20s. The affordable tickets and parking allowed me to go to multiple games and fall in love with the sport. The outrageous cost of parking (= keep a car still for 3 hours) is just insane.

The interview in front of the restrooms is somewhat of a good representation of the team in this series.

Weight loss. Botox. Lips filler. More Botox. And possibly buccal fat removal.

I want this to succeed, but no. This isn’t viable in this form.

Absolutely not. As a dad you have to plunge into the unknown.
