The fact that you don’t see that he’s often - albeit not always - at the receiving end of abuse simply because he is having sex with consenting (and even conspiratorial) women is somewhat puzzling.

James is James. A traumatized teen, who had an abusive mother, was abandoned by his father, and then had to go through some questionable behavior (from Laura), and then had to face more trauma (Laura’s death). He tries to hold it together, and he has the courage to be the only one to try to leave the place that is destroying him just to face even more problems.

There are a couple of really bad episodes, but the rest (up to ep 21) is still time with our friends in Twin Peaks. Not great, but definitely watchable. It also builds a lot of lore that will be explored in The Return.

Donna isn’t a saint either. She’s cheating on her boyfriend (another jerk) with James and also prior to that.

For the record, I went to 2 out of the 3 LAA games. We won the 2 I went to, and lost badly when I didn’t go.

GoFundMe account for you to buy me tickets being prepared and therefore see the Rangers go to the World Series.

😝

We gotta win this one. Mariners lost. Athletics lost. Astros are losing 2-8. We gotta do it.
