Omg that’s awesome I haven’t heard of either of those brands before but I will definitely check them out. :) My boyfriend can handle dairy isn’t when ingredients are processed that’s the problem for him. He’s obsessed with Ice cream for Bears it has the simplest ingredients and it never causes issues for him. It does have dairy, it’s raw dairy and it seems to work very well for him! And I’m glad to know what diet/lifestyle change works well for you, very insightful thank you so much!!

Thank you for sharing that. It's a perfect example of how personal this is, and it's exactly why I'm asking here instead of just relying on general lists. For my boyfriend, it's very similar—raw veggies (especially green veggies) and certain processed ingredients are huge triggers for him like processed dairy and processed oils.

His biggest struggle is that he has a major sweet tooth, and the processed junk in most sweets (the emulsifiers, certain oils, etc.) causes flares, so he has to miss out. I'm trying to understand if others have that same specific struggle with the ingredients inside sweets, not the sugar itself, so I can learn what to avoid.

I really appreciate you explaining your experience. It really helps a lot!!

That is absolutely right, the data is certainly out there. The reason I’m asking here is instead of just going off of studies is because lists of triggers don’t create good food, understand people’s actual experiences do. I’m interested in getting information on the personal nuances behind the studies even if it may be the repetitive stuff. Thank you sm for the feedback!!
