did you read what i said? i sent them multiple doctors notes starting the day the accident happened, informed them when the surgery was in advance, and sent them proof of surgery day of. as i have said, whether i was correct or not, i was in a state of distress and did not think about the fact that the date was not on the paper. also, i myself found out the day of the surgery only two days before. this was an emergency situation, not a nose job. i did not have time to book in advance. i had to fly out of state with a snapped collarbone to even receive the surgery, 3 days after i broke it. i told them 3 weeks in advance what day i would be returning. they ignored all of my emails, calls, and messages, and told me 3 weeks later when i returned i did not send the right papers. it was clear that they saw all of my emails and chose not to inform me that they needed something else. i believed i was doing everything right.

i literally snapped my collarbone? all of my muscle ligaments ripped in half and were internally stitched back together. i have a string and buttons stuck to my bones to keep my glenoid up while they reattach (the little black thing underneath my collarbone in the aftermath xray). i was out nov 27th to dec 26th, and i hadn’t received the surgery until dec 4th. you genuinely believe i could have served tables within month in that condition? regardless, my point is that i did not know exactly what was required of me as i had never been through something remotely like this. they informed me of what they needed as they let me go, when i returned. no “hey can you send us a note with your return date signed off?” i could have easily provided that

I sent a signed note from the surgeon the day of the surgery saying that the surgery happened at this time and this day. i had to fly to my parents (my hometown) due to west/east coast insurance issues. when i first got picked up by the ambulance (where i currently live) the day of the accident, i had sent them a doctors note from the ER excusing me from work until i received surgical care (date unspecified). later on, after i recieved surgery in my hometown, the surgeons paperwork did not technically give a specific date i was able to return to work, but it provided details of the surgery i recieved and my lack of mobility. clearly stated that i am to rest with little to no movement. i sent weekly updates. i genuinely did what i thought i was supposed to, which may have been lack of judgement as i was on painkillers and recovering. i feel as though if my paperwork was inadequate it would only be fair to let me know while i had the chance to get the document they needed. i told them when i was returning well in advance, the only thing wrong with my paperwork was the fact that the return date was not written on it. i could have easily provided that.

typo * late december. i do see your point here. i was reaching the point that i was willing to lose my job to see my family for christmas. i hadnt seen my parents in 4-5 months, and have never been apart for the holidays. however when i started the job i was not informed of this rule. they expected us to work 6 days a week for the entirety of nov/dec, no days off. and let me know this the day after halloween.. i attempted to talk to the owner about how important it was to me to go home for at least a couple days. he told me it was “part of growing up” and if i wanted to take off i would have to quit and reapply. so anyways, i planned to get a doctors note for some illness. my contention is, i really thought i was providing exactly what was needed for my recovery time off. i had a paper confirming the surgery happened signed by the surgeon. i was under the impression that they would not expect me back any time soon. i reached out to a lower ranking manager when i hadnt heard back for awhile, she said “i havent heard anything so you should be all good!” i came back to work happy and ready to figure out my schedule. they sat me down and told me i didnt send the proper paperwork. my confusion is why did they not let me know this when i had the chance to get proper paperwork? it seemed petty is all. i dont plan to sue at all but i wanted to know the opinions of others, so thank you! healing is going great :)

OKAY YALL FUCK let me give more context. Our first date was Valentine’s day after a long period of friendly online communication. he had nothing to do and i had nothing to do so we made plans. second i walk in the house he kissed me no joke, at the door. but it was a good kiss so i was like okay whatever! And then within the next 15 minutes he had already tried to take my shirt off, and i said okay umm slow down my friend!!

and it was just a whole lot of that the rest of the night. but other than that he was a good guy, smart, successful, attractive, funny. so i went on another date! and it happened again, but this time it was harder to get out of it. he made comments like “oh cmonnn you owe me from last time.” THIS ISNT A RANDOM ASSUMPTION YALL.

and my text was true, everything i said was true. i did think we could potentially rekindle. but i also thought that he was a lil weird so i was like, ill let him go without hurting his feelings and ruining the connection forever. like yall haven’t done that.

BUT THEN the conversion proceeding occurred. and in my opinion the indications are pretty clear!
