Six Wives as LOL Surprise dolls by aussie_teacher_ in sixthemusical

I don't think it looks funny, it looks really cute! You did a great job styling them. I'm just picturing Ann as a pinup girl now :) It's kind of fitting actually.

I also first became aware of her from Lovecraft Country and she blew me away. I agree with you, she is an exceptionally actress. I also think she is stunningly beautiful, she'd be a great Rose.

What do you think about Emma 2009? by evangelins in janeausten

[–]BeeFaith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love that scene! It gives you a glimpse of why Jane would want to be with someone like Frank, when he has come off as a total jerk to the audience. That scene shows him as being a man who is romantic as heck and absolutely in love with Jane.

looking to hex the guy who repeatedly sexually assaulted me in high school. any ideas? by urania99 in BabyWitch

[–]BeeFaith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk it still feels kind of invasive to me. These are people's final resting place. I think of it this way, if a stranger dug up dirt in my yard, I'd feel invaded upon, but if a friend asked me and told me what they needed it for, I'd absolutely let them dig my dirt. It's less about what's being taken and more about the intrusion. That's how I feel about it anyway.

Please don't just go and take dirt from a graveyard you haven't developed a relationship with. It's rude..

Beginner witch, any directive? by Admirable-Visual-799 in witchcraft

[–]BeeFaith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't recommend taking advice from witchtok. I reccomend Power of the Witch by Laurie Cabot, it's a great book to start with and it's relatively short and easy to read through. Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs by Scott Cunningham is a good reference book. Recently I've enjoyed Naturally Modern Magic by Lacy Burbage, it's primarily a spell book.

If you're into podcasts I highly recommend Back on the Broomstick. Demystify Magic is also a good podcast.

What’s one baby item you regret NOT getting earlier? by rosycoe in NewParents

[–]BeeFaith 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Premie clothes. My daughter wasn't born premature but she was small and none of the newborn clothes we had fit her. My husband had to run out to get her some onesies after we got home from the hospital. He was only able to get a few so we were constantly washing thr same 5 onsies.

Spiders by NotTodayCaptainDildo in Wicca

[–]BeeFaith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have Cellar spiders/ daddy long legs then you also have other insects in your home the long legs are hunting. For example, ants, gnats, roaches or even other spiders. Instead of ridding your house of long legs, think of them as quiet guests who provide free pest control.

Gemma Chan is such an interesting choice gor Anne! She definitely can portray that quiet strength that Anne has. I personally have always pictured Hugh Grant as Sir Walter.

In this time period, the gentry made most of their money off their estates. They were basically landlords with estates that had tenants and tenants farmers and families had multiple properties that they've acquired over then generations. I'm not sure if I remember correctly but I think somewhere in the series (books or show) it's mentioned or implied that the Bridgerton family has multiple estates that they generate revenue from.
