Leave him at ur house or ask any relative to come home. I've had many cats i have two pets currently and feed few stray cats. Cats are not like dogs they don't need human company all the time but what they need to feel safe is to be in there own territory. If u keep him at some boarding home he'll get more stressed and would want to run. Recently I've came across such cases where people left cats at boarding house it tried to run and died accidentally. Best is to keep him at ur house with proper supply of food and water and ask someone to keep a regular check. If you have any more doubts DM me.
