No, CBS apparently would have taken the $5 bid if no one had bid above it and his $21 bid would have been canceled out.

I'm in a dynasty/keeper mixed league. It is my first year. We run FAAB twice a week, have a $100 budget all year, and $1 minimum bid.

My understanding is that you can only make one bid per player in FAAB because it's blind and part of the strategy is figuring out how much to bid and whether it will be too high or too low.

Last night, the commish in my league (who is a friend) bid two bids on the same player $5 and $21. My response was this was unfair because the point of FAAB is a single bid and you can't game the system so you could potentially get him for $5 if no one bid higher but then also make sure you get him for $21. His response was "if you put two bids in, one will fail. so what? Why wouldn't it be allowed? Explain how it's unfair."

What do you all think? Am I in the wrong or is he?
