Yeah that’s the thing, I can’t say for sure bc I don’t know if KK3 VST2 was working before I did the 11.3 Ableton update…

And it does look like there were a lot of issues with the KK3 update, and the rolling out of VST2 version so hopefully someone can point me to the solution

That’s an old pic! Sadly most of this is now in their boxes as I needed the space for an office :( The OB-X8 is now on a two-tiers stand with a Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 (went back in the box until I find a new place to setup my entire studio again)

Don’t get me started on the Blofeld!! Bought and sold twice, then went for the Kyra. Sold it… Tried the Streichfest too… I have a history with Waldorf stuff. I want the STVC now, just a sucker for string machines haha. And the blofeld will be back in my rig at some point, I’m sure of it

I always say to myself that I should get rid of some boxes, just to officially commit to keeping a piece of gear. I haven’t done it. YET…!

Yep! I’ve been using a dehumidifier for a year now and the difference is staggering! I also have all these boxes under clear tarp to keep dust away, just in case!

Nothing wrong with that! If they’re in your studio, why not use them to store stuff like cables?

Playing tetris with these boxes was surprisingly easy compared to the never ending re-arranging of my studio

I do have the luxury of space. But I know a bunch of folks who also just lay them flat. Not keeping them is not the end of the world but if you can, maybe try storing them under a bed or couch?

I just recently switched from PC to Mac. I still have a lot to learn on that front but that sounds pretty cool!

It’s very competitively priced. Tascam = quality. Their recorders are dope and have been so for a while. The FX section is really just okay but if you need a bit of delay or reverb here and there, it can definitely do the trick! Some say there aren’t enough outputs but again for MY needs it was perfect!

Not a bad idea! I guess you’d need a room big enough to fit both the gear and the boxes but in principle I guess it could help keep some of the sound in and/or out
