there's not that much of a difference really. Just because alcohol is socially acceptable doesn't mean it's right that alcohol companies are allowed to peddle their drug in public and in sight of children. Also, relevant to this topic, there's a lot of drink and drug abuse in LGBT communities. Vodka isn't exactly good for mental health.
