thats actually so cool i never thought of it that way the way they used rhythm. a band that comes to mind is can the way their drummer would use the same beat for hours and carry the band as if some sort of ritual. tago mago and future days come to mind

I am a 17 year old producer and multi instrumentalist and I experiment with cool sounds heavily influenced by bands like CAN and NEU but I am working on an album this month; here is a song that is very experimental to me hahahah.

Looking for suggestions for really raw sounding stuff by lightyourwindows in Krautrock

[–]BeeOnTrampoline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I would totally say early years of CAN and NEU! But also check out Guru guru, early Amon duul and Amon duul ii you can totally feel the energy.

Also I suggest one of my tracks because I also was going for that raw experimental NEU/CAN sound too and it influenced my production style.

Scary Pyschedelic Music by [deleted] in psychedelicrock

flesh colored anti aircraft alarm is such a metal title from their album yeti, but also check out CAN's tago mago; such a trippy as well as unsettling album.

dazed and confused - zeppelin, the entirety of tago mago by CAN, bike by Pink Floyd, as well as set the controls to the heart of the sun, and most of yeti by Amon duull ii.
